If anything looks like furniture, my rabbits want is as a toy in one way or another. So they have been chewing a wooden chest in my bedroom, for example, even though their own chew toys were sitting beside it.

I had some end pieces of wood that I made a platform out of to give them another raised spot to sit on since their pen has concrete flooring. This thing ended up looking like a mini raft and they ever love it so much. I bet they think it's furniture. I will make them more 'fake furniture'.

yes! It is a kitty tube. It is the best thing because their flooring is hard and I wanted a soft cozy place for them that they can't pull off. I tried putting down rugs and fleeze but they really go into demolition mode: Deirdra and Mops wil SHRED anything fabric, and Lint just potties on anything blanket or rug. They tried to dig up the kitty tube but it didn't work.

Looks like fun!
I am purchasing some new bunny toys/furnature for my guys next month. I love the carpet tunnle, i have the crinkle cat tunnel it's a hit with everyone but used only as a supervised toy, otherwise it woud have never lasted as long as it has so far LOL.

I had to cover all my concrete floor, as the bunny pee was staining and wrecking it. I have linolium and corogated plastic sheting covering the floor, and as bases to the cages. I took some recent pictures but i took them before i started cleaning so it's a total disaster with poop everywhere LOL, i'm to embarassed to post them LOL

I want my husband to make me a platform. I was thinking 2x4 feet (big enough to be wedged at one end of the xpen, and maybe 18 inches off the ground. Ideally it would have some lino stuck to it or some peel 'n' sticks... I want it to be like a sideways "E" with a semi circle cutout in the middle support... If I EVER get it, I would of course post pics.

Beka, you are lucky you can design things and order them to be built. Even if it takes a while to get it.

I want to post a picture of one of mine sitting on their 'raft' platform and then get Rabbitpam to photoshop it so it looks as if they are floating on water.

That would be a riot!

I didn't say I'd get my platform for THIS pair... it may be in 10 years when I have my next pair...

I guess, it is always good to plan for the future... LOL 10 years!

edit to add: It just hit me. By then your son will be a teenager and if you raise him right, he can build it for you

I love your setup Petzy, I can't wait to someday have an entire room to dedicate to Bun's only. Sometimes it's a bit much having them wake me up a lot. Especially when your bed turns into the Indianapolis 500 track and your body is just a speed bump....
