Brittany, Go into My Profile (above), click Edit Settings, scroll down and you'll see a browse button where you can select a pix from your computer. add it and click save. BB, do we have an instruction post for doing this, and siggys, and avatars? If not, can we Tack one up, maybe a HOW TO... subject, so everyone can refer to it and we can just link to it if someone doesn't see it? I didn't see instructions in the Forum Rules. thanks RP |

RabbitPam I think that would be a great idea for the 'How to'. For the siggy you need to resize the photos, I made mine with a paint program. Upload the photo(s) to a site like photobuckets that will give you the html code. Copy and paste the html code into the box for the signature. See below for size rules. BB rules on signature size: Personal pictures and graphics should be no larger than 250 pixels wide, 100 pixels high. Text should be no more than 100 pixels high.

I can figure out the location thing, and how to add TEXT to my signature, but I am not sure how to add the URL of my photo for the signature so that is SHOWS as a photo and not text. |

Er.......sorry RabbitPam, signature editing is under "My Forum Settings" unless you know of a secret pathway that we don't? I think a How To is a great idea. Maybe one with screen shots of the page you should see etc Andi, I think the URL has to be in html code, so it adds a bunch of jargon on each side of the URL. I used Photobucket before to load a siggy image as it gives you various types of codes (including html) to use. I'm not sure if other photo hosting sites do this... |

Yes it needs to be HTML code for your siggy. I also use photobucket to get that code. Also, BB changed the size so you have have it 100 by 500 |

Yeah i don't usually use Photo Bucket, so I had to find my old account. The place where I keep my photos don't keep the HTML codes so that was my issue. I tried the [ img ] thing but it didn't work. So heads up to anyone also trying that meathod. |

Go to "My forum settings" in the light green bar near the top. Click "Edit" button. Add text to siggy box and html code for your image. (If you have a Photobucket account you can copy the html code of the image from there) Lastly, click on "Save". Good luck! |

Cactus, you have photobucket account don't you? A video you posted was on that host site I think. Anyway, you can save a photos html code from photobucket and paste the code in the signature box in your profile. To find that go to "My Forum Settings" in light green header bar. Cllicl on Edit. Youll see a box where you can add text for signature and html code for an image. Can't recall the dimension allowance, sorry! |
