For bunny flop drama, I don’t think we can get any better than how Mimzy actually takes SO long to prepare his flop, washing the floor, washing himself, testing the angle, eyeballing the patch of sunlight or shade it’s in, a few scratches here and there (of himself and the floor) and then he ‘spins’ into position by twisting his body headfirst onto the floor and pushes with the back legs for the stretch….lol. “I’m a professional diver….WHEE!” *plunk!*
Fiver just does the ‘dead bunny flop’…he’ll be sitting up washing his face, he’ll pause, and then WHUMP! goes over with his legs all sticking out like he’s been shot. Scared the crap out of me when I first saw him do it. 0_o;

MM, Moose does kind of the same thing as Mimzy. He loooves washing the floor first. And the stretching into a flop. Although he does the dead bunny flops often too

Monkey just does the roll over into the water bowl flops. Weirdo.

I don’t call her Blossom anymore, I think it’s officially BumbleBee now It fits her personality more. Plus I love saying Beeeeee in a high pitch squeel to her lol.

Bun is a Himalayan – she’s doing okay. I was pretty nervous but I’ve been so busy with school it keeps my mind off freaking out like I did for Indy. Until her literbox manners improve she can’t run around my room like Bee and Indy. So hopefully the spay might help her tinkling issues. I had lots of metacam to give her after the spay to soothe my mind to make sure she wasn’t hurting too badly.

I really want to take a movie of Bee when I touch her hind feet. She runs off and kicks! Like I insulted her to the highest degree and so she will kick me! It’s hilarious!! She flings her feet back really far when she zooms off. Little brat. She takes treats so nice for me, I still have to hold them for her, she won’t take them out of my hand like the other 2 do. Queen Bee for sure lol.

Sounds like Mimz. He hates being ‘pushed around’ in any fashion, feet or bum…so when I have to clean a side of his pen I have to pat his bottom or touch his feet a bit and say, “Scoot-scoot!” and then he foot flicks me all the way across the cage. ^_^

Ha…you know I forgot to tell you guys….my dad still doesn’t know Bee exists lol!! He was even in my room one night looking at my new computer monitor. My boyfriend bought me a huge 26” one from viewsonic…and he was sitting here in the chair looking at the specs and I was feeding my oscar. The bunnies heard the pellets in the bag shaking so they ran out from under my bed and were crawling up my legs to get some treats…well what they thought were bunny treats lol. He didn’t even notice rofl!

Uhm, why bother getting him ticked off over nothing. Obviously if he doesn’t even know she exists she can’t be a problem. Seriously when I brought Wickett home (pomerainian) a few years ago… have you seen the movie Carrie? The old one. You know when the house gets sucked down to hell? That was what happened at my house. Now when my brother brought the rat terrier home last July….well she’s my dads dog now. *rolls eyes* It’s always been like this though. He’s so oblivious – plus the fact the downstairs is pretty much to myself and brother, what he doesn’t know can’t hurt him! He still thinks I have 2 rabbits and he was even in my room with her out and about and didn’t notice….or maybe he just didn’t want to notice :p

About keeping her? My parents have never made me give up any pets. I’m not afraid of that at all. I just don’t want to be yelled at and have him pissy at me for a few days. I showed her to my mom after the first week of having her.

Ughh…I wish I could find the picture of where he was sleeping and I put my iguana on him. That’s a good picture! I already showed you guys the chinchilla one lol!

This is like me with the hub right now. Desperately want to (get this) think about getting another dog (I know, I swore off dogs, but…) but…why risk being killed over a stupid suggestion?

Geez, I live with that dynamic between my son and husband. If college hadn’t intervened, I think it would’ve gotten much worse. Actually, I dread his summer break, much as I’d like to see him and spend time, I know it means those two have to put up with each other again and it’s like nuclear rods with no damping agents.
Not like I haven’t thought of building a few ‘ohana’ houses on my property, just to keep the peace. >.<

Ah nooo we have a great father/daughter relationship….he’s just sorry I got my grandma’s love for animals so he relives it everyday hehe They just had way too many pets for his liking growing up, and I’m just the same as her. It’s always something She used to have a exotic bird raising business of hundreds of birds she would hand raise. If you could imagine the time commitment to that and the noise….

Hm, the birds would be hard for me. I think that’s why I love the rabbits, they don’t make TOO much noise. (thinks of Mimzy throwing his litter pan at 7 this A.M.)
I like mourning doves. And sometimes budgies…but I don’t think I could handle the exotic birds. 0_o When my hub and I were unmarried and living in Pismo Beach, his sis was renting an apartment above a family home where they had all sorts of parrots/exotic fish/you name it. They had one of those grey parrots (don’t know the breed, sorry) that came down to right by my ear and screamed his name at me. I think I was deaf in that ear for a week.

Cute little guy, though…just… loud. I just HAD to ask why they called him “Boomer.” 0_o

Yeah, I think the tail on that parrot was actually a greenish yellow…and short. I’m not sure, all I saw of him was his big beak going for my eardrum. 0_o
