Anyone doing easter pics??

Is anyone planning on taking easter pics of their bunnies???

i went and bought the stringy stuff you put in the basket today going to start taking pics monday!

i have no idea what to use for a background though, any idea’s? should i just use a sheet?

Im thinking i might try and get hershey and twix to sit in the basket together… they sat fine together when i “attempted” to bond them… has anyone gotten two un bonded bunnies to sit together in an easter basket before??

Ooo! Cute idea! Lol. Though of course, only show those pix to people who understand bunnies are not pets to be bought on a whim and they are indoor pets and should be fixed and on a proper diet etc etc etc. We want to break the cycle of buying “Easter bunnies” and then relinquishment – not encourage the Easter bunny image.

That being said, sounds like a good idea. Get a cute sheet or some pastel colored fabric to drape over a chair or something to set the scene and then get things like baskets, and those plastic eggs, stuffed animals, candy (if the bunnies won’t eat the candy!)

I’d be careful when dealing with two unbonded bunnies in the same space. A fight can break out SO quickly… and if you’re stepped back to take pictures, you may not be able to reach them in time to prevent serious injury. Even if they’ve been ok together in the past, you never know… if they’re uncomfortable in the basket, they may be more likely to snap at each other. If they’re all fixed and you want to bond them, then you’ll need to treat the photo session with as much care as you would a first bonding session – meaning being on constant watch to prevent something from happening, so you probably won’t get any decent pictures. I don’t mean to offend you or to come off mean, but I want to prevent you from having to deal with anything bad as a result of a fun photo shoot. Even if they are ok together, you’ll probably end up taking photos of a poop war Maybe you can just photoshop them into the same picture?

Share the pics with us when you do it! I think I’ll do an Easter photo shoot… post Easter so I can buy all the Easter stuff on sale!

i was planning on haveing someone else there for that exact reason, neither are altered so its a bit of a challange but they get along, my older sister will be there hands just out of the shot or taking the picture, just in case, and i’ll only do maybe 1 or 2 piccs of them together….
the pics are only for my personal photo file and of couse posed on here aswell
i’d photo shop them but, i have no idea how to do that, and i dont think i have the right programs for that anyways… some techy i am..

Took Bailey to pictures with the Easter Bunny at a local pet store today, proceeds from the pics going to the humane society.  Well actually they’re buying new bunny cages for the humane society.  I’ll get the CD with the pics they took later in the week but these are the ones I took:

i wont be takeing pics untill after easter, with my grandmothers recent passing, theres just too muvch to do and honestly its hard to even look at hershey, hershey was originally going to be named after mygrandmother but we didnt want to jynx things so we changed her name, gosh my grandma loved that bunny, the only place she’d binky in a house was in my grandparents house beside the hospital bed (when when my grandma was still at home), she used to make my grandma laugh, and that was special especially because she was so sick she could hardly talk… and when i do finally take the pics. im deefinatly not putting the two buns in the same basket, especially with the new dought on what ‘gender’ twix is…

Great idea! I’ve done Halloween and Christmas “photo shoots” but never Easter. hmmmm, only got a week left but I got lots of Easter stuff I can use. They will all have to be photographed single though since they are all unbonded and Stormy would not welcome another bunny in HIS photo shoot.

Every year I try to get Maryann to wear a pair of pet costume bunny ears and every year she avoids them.

Markbun! Bunny ears for a bunny! How dare you! Maryann says she has her own pair of ears and they’re perfectly fine, thank you. Lol

That would make for a cute picture though.
