Ok guys, i REALLY need your help and dont know what to do!

My twin brother works in construction and works with all kinds of persons... well here is my problem...this afternoon my brother came home with a baby bunny...looks to be female...still young to tell, going to the vet tomorrow to be checked for health and sexing. one of the guys they use as a "temp", they are placed with companies thru a job placement agency and when other companies need more workers, they have temps come in and work so they dont have to go thru tring to hire new people for only certain number of jobs spread out...but anyway, back to my point, one of these guys had this baby bunny in a tim hortons tim bit box and told my brother it was his pet and he takes it everywhere...and it lives in the tim bit box when traveling or in a 24 case empty beer box...WTF!!! (sorry bout the langauage) so, all in all my brother took the bunny and brought it me. he got very little information on the bunny, it is 4 weeks old and is a new zealand cross...appearently this guy's step dad breeds them for very large snakes...so, now i have this itty bitty baby, he is in my opinion, pretty underweight but is eating well and moves around and plays, has very bright and clear eyes and alert...so im assuming a side for the weight issue, seems healthy...thus why going to see the vet tomorrow to make sure.

my problem is this! do i open my heart and home to this little one or take it to a shelter? i have not named it cause well, you dont name animals you dont keep but i dont know if i should keep the helpless little thing or pass it on....

ANY ADVICE PLEASE!!! i just want to make sure the little one is healthy for myself and that is why it is going to a vet trip!

I posted this here...cause i didnt know where else to post it

Well maybe it was meant to be? If you keep this little one you know that he is going to have a great life, much much better than what he would've had..

oh my, how tiny! I remember when Tank and Ranger were that small!

It's gonna be tough to follow through if you decide not to keep him/her. Good luck at the vet!

ok i have new pics of the little one, still no name, in the cage i have set up for it and pics of moose's area. they are side by side but they cant touch anything other then their noses...no teeth! good news though, it did get a clean bill of health and the wound is doing fine, the vet said that i should just keep doing what i am doing instead of having to buy stuff ive shown i dont need so that was nice...love being able to treat most wounds on my own...saves a lot in vet costs. the little one is healthy and the vet said it is defiently a cross...new zealand and cant tell with what...still young and has said it looks to be 3-4 weeks...OMG!!! so very young and i was right, it is a bit under weight. but other then the wound and the weight, it is healthy so i was happy to hear that.

MB, you need to save "Fluffykins McSnugglebum" for your future grey lop. Great name!

She almost appears a chocolatey colour - very pretty colour. Good to hear she got a clean bill of health.
I'm submitting the name Elke. Moose & Elke. btw, there's a horse in your living room.

lintini...thank you, he is 9 months old and i got him for free at the farm i work at. he is a perfect seal point, but yes apple head, with the most amazing blue eyes...they are icy blue on the outside and a royal winter blue inside....very stunning little boy...the sad part is that moose(10weeks old on march 21st) is the same size as my 9 months old cat!!....

she looks like a chocolatey gey colour... im very curious to see if it changes as she gets older. i do really like the name elk for her....
and so elk and lego are in the running....
