  I’m talking about boys, not bunnies.
  
  So it only took me about four months of begging my Significant Other to let me get a bunny. In the end, the deal was that it was my responsibility to clean and take care of the bunny and that he could get a truck OR another motorcycle (he went with the motorcycle). But soon after I brought baby Arduina home, he realized what great litterbox habits she had and how friendly she was.. and he fell in love. Nowadays, he gets down on the floor with her and gives her kisses and talks about all the cute things she does (“Oh Arduina just did the cutest thing…”).
  
  Well, as of last week, he has been cleaning the litterbox!! I was shocked the first time he did it, and he’s done it two times since! He’s even talking about getting another bunny… (we have more to discuss though)

  You should work out a deal similar to the last one. He can get a new bunny and you can get a ___________ (fill in the blank space). Even though you’re getting a 2nd bunny too.

  hahaha thats exactly how my boyfriend is. he complains about what a pest she is but i catch him feeding and petting her. and his friends will come over and giggle over Dusty like school girls its pretty hilarious.

  That’s a pretty steep trade-off… bunny vs. motorcyle! My guess is that he would have gotten himself a motorcycle (or truck) anyways… but at least you got something out of it too! LOL!

  Well as long as he said no I couldn’t get a bunny, I said no to his expensive toys. Afterwards we were both so much happier and much happier in our relationship. It culminated the end of a really stressful period. I had just finished my qualifying exam (ie mid-term exam) for my doctorate degree (I still have a couple more years before I graduate) and he had a major work project deadline.
  
  Hah, my Mom had said I should be able to adopt a bunny for each wheel he got! (Truck = 4 bunnies, motorcycle = 2 bunnies). I like my Mom’s thinking.
