I bought Indy a cat bed, and now he's pooping and peeing in it and sleeping in it...

I just washed it and its all dirty again. Any ideas? Just let him poo and dump it in to the liter box as needed?

I think he thinks it's a nice snuggly liter box...

Some buns associate plushness with bedding for a bathroom. My first rabbit always wanted to get to my pillow to use as a latrine.
My bonding quest with Maryann - Read about a less than easy bonding with two buns - but they did bond!

I got a CUDDLE E CUP for Koucha when she was a baby... she LOVED to lay in it...

However, since she got bigger, she began to favor other things to sleep in. Now she uses the cup to claw and scratch. She even STRETCHES it ... Or tries to. I think she is too big for it...

Fiver is the only one of the three who will gladly snuggle in a cuddly cup. Of course he'll eat his cecals in it too...which becomes NASTY afterwards. 0_o But at least he only grooms or sleeps on his bedding.
Mimzy tries to tear soft bedding apart and both he and Pip will pee/poo on anything fabric. I'd be happy to get them some Cottonelle if they'd just leave the cuddly cups alone!
Mimzy, Pip & Fiver...yup...my day is all about them. :)

Leroy and Jeannie love their cat beds; they snuggle up together in it.. I'll try to get a picture soon! They don't pee in it, but they do leave a few poops around, I just dump it into one of the litter boxes when I clean those.

Pepper will actively kick things aside (towels, pillows, etc) in favor of lying on the bare wood or tile floor.

Bunnies are weird

Marshmallow does the same thing! I bought her a really cute pink bolster bed for small dogs since she is the size of a small dog lol. She poops and pees all over it so gross! But she also loves that things. So even though it is wearing out faster I dump it and wash it every other day. Strangely enough she has an identical purple one that she doesn't do that in she just sleeps in it. She sleeps in the pink one but also pees in it.... Rabbits!

Got the pictures!

Each of my bunnies has a bed... but they feel the need to cram in to one together

Sorry about the bars in these pictures... I knew if I tried to open the cage door, they'd move.

I took this one later that night, and my flash woke Jeannie up and she had a BIG yawn... Too bad the bars are in the way. Oh yeah, and I was taking this picture in the almost complete darkness, so I had a hard time aiming the camera, lol.

lolz...Those are a couple of rot-your-teeth-cute photos! ^_^
I love the cuddly cup snuggle...omg, how do they get themselves both in there like that?? xD They're going to need a shoehorn to get out, for sure!
That yawn...looks like you have an opera star on your hands! ^_^

Hahaha, MM, you always make me laugh Usually, Leroy's in there first, stretched out all comfortably, and Jeannie hops in with him and shoves him to one side so she can fit too. It's hilarious to watch them sort out who gets how much space   I really don't know how they both fit in there!

Lol it does look like she's singing opera... or shouting at her mom to turn off the flashy thing and let her get back to sleep.

Fi ga rooo   cute.   They look good together.

I got a cuddly cup.   They  just pee and poop in it.    Cotton has his spot under the table.   I put a pillow and a towel to snuggle up in.  I see a poop in there now n then.   Plus he has  atowel on top the hay containers.  He snuggles up on that too.   He doesn't pee on them.  Just the ones in his cage.  INteresting.

I don't put things like that in their cage anymore.   Cotton hates stuffies   Ruby grooms hers.

Add me to the list of those who have gotten Cuddle-E cups and their bunny peed in it. I wouldn't mind the poops. But I draw the line at urine. I threw the smelly damp thing away. Now Buddie has his fleece bed tunnel and so far, he keeps it immaculate, except for trekking in pieces of litter and hay, which I clean out now and then. His mini-haven has replaced his bed tunnel as his favorite place to hang out, though. I put a fleece blanket in there which he rests on. Love your buns nestled on their bolster bed, Barbie, thanks for the pics. The other buns pictured are cute too. Bunnytowne, are those BARRETTES on Lady Ruby? Very cute!

Hi Lintini, I see her crown but what's that on her hindquarter...at first I thought it was a barrette. But that would be a funny place for a barrette, maybe. Anyway, cute bunnies!
