Running out of ideas..

Chacha doesn't like pinecones..  She is rather picky, lol. She doesn't seem to like toilet paper rolls...

Any ideas?

I am thinking about getting some brown paper lunch sacks from the store and filling it with hay and a few treats she will have to get her way to by chewing

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Paper lunch bags with all kinds of treats and hays are of no interest with my bunnies. I don't understand why.

They only thing they seem to enjoy is actually chewing cardboard boxes and sticks and smaller branches which I bring home. Karl likes to throw things, especially if it is noisy (!), but that is easily solved by just letting him throw the food bowl.

Oh, and the treat ball is always great fun. I put pellets in it.

I filled a cardboard box with shredded paper once and cut two small holes in it. They had a lot of fun chewing their way into the box and then afterwards dig out the paper (which I kept putting back in to keep my home tidy...Sisyfos), so I can recommend this. It lasted for 2-3 weeks.

But as you can tell my ideas are mostly about chewing 'cause that's what mine enjoy...not sure if Chacha is a chewer if she doesn't appreciate the pinecones or toilet paper rolls?

Willow toys are very inexpensive. That's my recommendation.

Try the tube again, but this time add some sticks poking out the sides.  It creates an item that doesn't lay flat and sometimes buns love these things to flip them around and get them out of their way.

Sometimes I wonder how much is play and how much is actually them just frustrated with the dang things being there.

Ho Ho ho, thanks Mark! Popsicle sticks, eh?

Beka, are there sites online that have BIG willow toys? I find willow toys at the pet stores, but.. its meant for guinea pigs, tinier animals than rabbits! Chacha chews it in no time LoL

Karla - I have put newspaper and hay in an old shoe box.. Bunny loved it, but ended up pooping in it LOL!!

Binkybunny sells the larger willow balls and cubes which are nice. There are also willow tents and hidey houses that can be chewed AND double as a safe place to sleep. The tent on here is one of my buns' favorites. It sleeps two bunnies, a combined 9 pounds very comfortably! They nibble at it, but they don't demolish it.

I have found one of the best ways to encourage a rabbit to chew something up- is to attach it to the cage or pen bars.  A basket could last awhile otherwise- but attach it to the pen- and it becomes my rabbits personal mission to utterly destroy the basket.

And phone books are great too- my bunnies love to dig and chew old phone books.

For the paper bags idea- you need to punch some holes and let them smell there is something really awesome inside like a papaya tablet- otherwise mine will lose interest too.

I have used clean packing paper- and put craisins and a papaya tablet in different parts of it and then wadded it up- and they will work at that for awhile too.
