Hahaha ok I don't think she's MEAN, but I liked that it rhymed

Here's the issue we've been having....

I've been noticing recently is that there are large tufts of Leroy's fur scattered around on the floor.  I know he's not shedding because when I pet him, I collect almost no fur on my hands, and also because his fur doesn't come out in clumps like that when he's going though a shed.  I checked him all over and he doesn't have a rash or any kind of skin condition.

Once last week (this was after I put them together 24/7) I saw Jeannie trying to hump Leroy!  She never tried to mount during any of the bonding sessions, and other than her mounting they seem to get along great - no more nipping from Leroy, and they both groom each other.  Anyway, when I saw Jeannie trying to mount Leroy, Leroy just moved away (he didn't run away, just moved out of her reach) and she was left with a clump of his fur in her mouth.  If all the clumps of fur that I'm finding (one a day or one every other day) are indicative of Jeannie trying to mount Leroy, should I separate them again?  I don't want a bald mini rex!  Like I said, other than this fur-pulling/mounting they are doing well.  Leroy doesn't turn on Jeannie when she's trying to mount him, and she's not breaking the skin, so it doesn't seem like it's that big a deal to Leroy.  Is this just something that they need to work out on their own, or should I take them back a step or two and go back to bonding sessions? However, I doubt going back to bonding sessions would work though because I've only ever seen Jeannie try to mount once - it's pretty rare.  If any of you have had experience with this and have some advice to offer, that would be great!

And sorry, I wasn't sure whether to post this in behavior or bonding...

You had a fast bonding and now they are moving on to building an order amongst themselves. It is pretty standard, I saw this phase with all bonds, easy or hard ones.

So they're just working things out between themselves right now, so it's ok if I just leave them be?

I just want to make sure that this doesn't break their bond, and that Jeannie doesn't pull out all his fur!

Oh I know, I call her Jeannie Beanie or Jean Bean when she's being cute... I just call both of them "stinker" or "butt" when they're being bad

Monkey always has the word butt attached to her name. Monkeybutt. Bunnybutt. Moose seems to have become Mooster, or Moosie goosie

Jeannie isn't going to pull out all of Leroy's fur. There is more fur on him than you think. I find a tuft of fur pluckings in my rabbits' pen some mornings. Mostly Neigey's because he is the newest. Sometimes Deirdra will give him a chasing too.

Is the fur from biting or from nail scratching while holding on for mounting? If it's biting, then Petzy knows best. If it's from nails, you might want to make sure she's had a good trim recently so she doesn't scratch him more than necessary. Probably bites, though.

It's definitely not nails. I trimmed both of them less than a week ago.
