  I went to the HRS HQ in Richmond, CA to pick up some supplies for my two and I saw this sitting in their exercise hallway:
  
  Looking a little lonely, I went in to say hi. Ronnie (his name) came at me grunting. So to let him know he was the boss, I quickly ran away. He chased me. Then wherever I walked, he followed and when I stopped he stood up on his hind legs to me. I bent over and petted him for over a minute with him still standing on his hind legs. No matter where I went, he would follow and then wait for the pets.
  
  If I didn’t know that Maryann would certainly disembowel him when he got home, I would have picked up this guy.

  Well if you start sleeping in the kitchen then he can have your bedroom as his own room, unless your others already have the bed room.

  I can see why you would be so tempted- but since bonding was quite the process for MaryAnn to accept Dono- I can see why you would be afraid to rock the boat.

  More like Dono is tolerated. I still find clumps of his fur about twice a month and she still charges him whenever he hops away.

  Maybe Dono would like to share the brunt of M’s temper with another rabbit? You seem to a have access to a good crew of people to provide a neutral environment for a bunnydate. Why don’t you just give it a whirl?

  I think Markus is already living in the food pantry in the kitchen. The buns have the bedroom at the very least… For all I know they also own the living room, bathroom, walk-in closet and half the kitchen. Not sure there would be a spot for another bun.

  Okay Mark. Here’s the deal. You adopt him, try things out. If it doesn’t work out…what we live 30min away from eachother? Just drop him off here okay if Mary tries to kill him. DEAL? DEAL? HMM?
