Had no idea what to put the subject of this question as...so just wondering...If Loki used to live with about 13 other rabbits before I took her/adopted her/gave her a new home (haha not sure what to call it)...do you think it would be easier or harder to bond her now? Or does it just depend on her? As you all know I have never owner a rabbit before, she is my first, and I pretty much only know dogs...and well dogs dont need to be bonded, and usually if they have been around other dogs they get along with other dogs pretty easily (for the most part, my one dog is an exception to this rule haha).  I still have to get her spayed, so no bonding will be happening yet...I was just wondering.

It really depends on her, and the other bunny. They react differently to each new bunny, so its hard to say.

It is very dependent on the bunnies involved. This is why it's recommended that you do "bunny dating" at a rescue to find the right match for her.

I am def going to try and do bunny dating. There are two rabbit rescues in the area, a House rabbit society and Luv-N-Buns So once Lokie gets spayed I will probably fill out an adoption application for either one or both of the places and just see what happens!

Yes they do.

It is one thing for dogs to go to the dog park (neutral turf) and have some fun with other dogs but to allow another dog into an existing dog's home... Tempers can get hot. Or sometimes a submissive resident dog can get depressed from feeling left out, there can be intense competition for favorite spots as well as favorite people. 

I do think Loki would like the co. of another rabbit and will do better during bonding than a rabbit that has always been solitary.
