Lots of NIC Cube pieces left over

Hello everyone,

I had purchased on Craigslist 100 NIC cube panels to build my bun’s new digs.  I now find myself with 20-30 left overs that I need to get rid of in order to have space.  If anyone would like them, let me know.  I’d prefer someone comes pick them up in the Bay Area but I’ll mail them out if you are willing to pay shipping.

First reply here, first served.  Oh, and it’s all or nothing.  But you’d be amazed how quickly 20-30 panels go.  Oh, and they’re all the old fashion, small sized grids.

I did at one time, it is just a boring 3 level box.  But I’ll go ahead and take new shots since I installed carpeting and added a couple of bits.

How much do you think they weigh, Mark? I might be interested and I don’t mind paying the shipping. Also, how large an open topped enclosure do you think these would make?
I’m thinking until I can get a larger space for them, the grids will at least help to add on to my bunnies’ xpen.

lol…That’s okay Kiley…if you already have grids I should probably bow out. I would be just beginning to build with these and have none to add them on to.
But if it helps to make them a large enough pen I can clean easier than the one I have, I’d still like to know how heavy they are. And I’ll add that I have to use Priority here because parcel gets lost or broken on the way up.

i might be interested i don’t have any nic grids (can’t seem to find them any were). how much are you thinking for them?

Well if they are a pick up situation, that will take precedence over mailing them and they’re free to a good home. Otherwise, I’ll put together more information tonight (weight, count, size, etc) and it will be up to the first responder willing to pay for shipping.

i live in WI so i couldn’t come pick them up. i would pay shipping depending how much it was. mimzmum might want them more than me though

Yeah, when it’s all figured out you can decide if you want them or not Mimzmum. I can get them at Target down the road for $18, so if the shipping is more than that, or they aren’t black (since that’s what color all mine are now and I kind of get ocd about things matching), it wouldn’t make sense.

Well, I know there were a few in front of me, but put me on the waiting list if everyone passes on the nic cube pieces.  I don’t have any yet and the cheapest I can find around here is starting at about $30 for 4 cubes…That’s not very much with 6 bunnies.  I would love to build bunny condos as they are sharing 1/2 of a x pen (so 2x1ft cage area)  I will keep checking in but it will have to be shipped to me too as I am in/around Cleveland, Ohio 44136.  Thanks for the consideration!

Hmm…..no no, must not get anymore NIC grides!   My husband will build an even bigger cage and I will no longer have an office haha!

Okey, so here’s the skinny on them:

I have 49 NIC cubes
They are 14″x14″
each one weighs 349 grams (that’s 3/4 of a pound to us colonists).
They are not in ‘new’ condition as they were used for outside storage however they are not rusty. They still have their protective coats on them
Most of them are black but there are a couple yellow, red and blues in there.
Shipping out of state looks like it’s going to cost around $45 USPS or $50 UPS.

If you only want a few of them, I can just send those out but I’d rather get rid of the whole load at once. Landlord is starting to get concerned about the ‘clutter’ of my house. And my rabbits are getting upset that I have to clean up their perfect warren room

Oh, and if it’s okey with you all, it sounds like KatieP really needs them.

I will definatley take them if it’s ok with everyone! Definately the best deal I will find on these. I even searched craigslist and no one is selling in Cleveland. So, how do you want to do this? If you have Paypal, we can do it that way, otherwise, I’ll send you them and you can send me a check when you receive them for the amount of shipping on the package and the return address is where you can send it. Just PM me your name and address.
