OMG Panda Lion just had a panic attack

Sheesh    Fouad burned something on the stove again.  A little bit.  The fire alarm went off.  I thought oh ohh here goes Pandalion.

Sure enuf she starts thumping.  Then Fouad got a towel to flap under the fire alarm to move the air.  OMG  Major panic attack.             She zooms around the cage sliding her bowls all over gettin water in her food bowl etc.

I got up and went to calm her.  She wouldn’t let me touch her she ran and banged herself again.  At that point I decided just grab her by the scruff and take her out to hold her.  All I could do Petting and speaking in a claming voice while her little heart pounded and I could hear her breathing fast.

After a bit she calmed.  Then I put her back in .  She gave me a thump but settled down.

I hate it when they panic.  She is worse than Cotton.  That tells me I cannot take her out in her harness and put her down just anywhere.  I will have to be careful where I let her play when outside.

Phew.  Prey animals.  They got it rough

OH and she was thumping friday nite too.  Again

She’s also young, too. She’ll get used to more noises as being normal and won’t panic quite so much when things are more familiar.

Poor baby Panda! I bet that was very scary and painful on her ears I played Lady Gaga the other night and Bun thumped at me! Guess she doesn’t approve of that “noise.”

My animals-all of them, due to living with me…ermmmm….are REALLY used to the fire alarm going off. Tonight I dined on frozen pasta and the fire alarm still went off (from boiling water overspilling) *sigh* cooking-just not my forte

you now the problem with fire alarms and cooking.  the fire alarms are just too sensitive  yeah thats it

lol yes.    HE keeps filling pots to the to with water and boiling it on  highest setting.   It has tea or meat or whatever in it.   Of course he walks away goes outside or in the bedroom forgets all about it thinking I am going to watch it. 

Next thing I know it overflows of course.    I keep telling him over n over  dont’ fill the darn pot to the top leave it on high and walk away you know what it is going to do   darnit. 

He had a bunch of laundry for me to go in  his truck.  Will he take it and put it inthe laundry bag.   Of course not so today Iwas doing landry and he lost his truck key.   Always holding me up

I will tell him the day b4 and the morning of that I am doign laundry.   Does he put it in the bag   of course not.  He waits til I am already down to the laundry room doing laundry to come and bring it.

HE asks everytime the same question.   Can’t I open the door and stick it in there on a side loader washer.   I just tell him what did I tell you last week when you asked that question and the week b4 and the week b4 that.  lol  Yi
