My mums a school principal, and normally gets to school around 7:30, so she can get a lot done before the parents start bringing kids to school…

there is a little courtyard on the boundary of her school, outside the fence, but joining onto the school, and  as she arrived this morning she saw something weird happening there so she walked over to have a look.

There were strange things piled up around the courtyard, almost like a memorial or something, as if someone had died in an accident there. Like a celebration of life. there were handbags, teddy bears, a samurai sword, bonsai trees with notes on them as to how to take care of them, and 2 cats in cages that also had notes on them… how to feed them, how often and what they like to eat etc… also a cross, and a suicide note. Mum called the police straight away and they were there really quickly. they had to search the whole area in case someone was hurt around the place, and also had to clear the neighbourhood incase this person was perhaps threatening harm on someone, or having custody problems etc. By this time parents and kids were starting to turn up for school …… then a lady came walking around the corner to check on her cats………

She had walked there with all her stuff in the middle of the night to create her own party sort of thing, planning to have all her stuff around her as she died…. Its just so sad to think about… the police said that she wanted to do it near the school for attention…     My first question to mum was what happened to the cats. Apparently the lady had an Iphone set up there in all her stuff, and the police found it and looked at the address book and found someone to look after the cats. They may have to go to the welfare league. Poor Cats. The lady was a ‘missing person’ and has been taken to the hospital for help…..     Mum said shes had people ringing all day worried that the lady would hurt the kids, but its ok because she has been taken off in an ambulance.

Just so sad when this sort of thing happens.

            Good grief! 0_o
I have to wonder if this lady has Alzheimer’s…but then if so, how she would have cats to take care of and leave instructions on how to feed, etc…. Doesn’t add up.
Gosh what an awful thing to find…thank goodness your mom was there at the right moment. This lady can get the help she needs now.
I do feel sorry for the kitties though. It’s good that a predator didn’t find them first.

That is so sad.  Glad she is getting some help.  Depression is a big black hole  a person can sink into.   I don’t wish that on anyone.  I am assuming she was depressed over something cuz happy people don’t plan a suicide.

AWww *cries* As selfish as people perceive suicide it comes from a deeply disturbed individual

Someone who really does it, especially a female (males usually do it, females usually pretend…) awww omg…..Honestly I doubt it was attention to her and more so to ensure that her pets were taken care of. That would be my concern. I am putting them in my will wouldn’t want an accident to put them back in a shelter (DaVE!!!)
