What is the funniest thing your bunny/bunnies ever did?

        Here is mine for Fern:

Well I had been putting off filling my fish tank for a while, because sometimes it would need to be filled because the water would evaporate. It had gotten dangerously low and the filter was starting to struggle so I decided to finally fill it. I take a bucket fill it to the top with water and haul it into my bedroom (which is also the bunny room.) I set it down next to the tank and struggle with the lid of the tank,( I was moving it so that the opeing in the top was bigger and the water was easier to pour in.) So there I am taking off the top of the tank and I see Fern checking out the bucket, I  didn’t think she was silly enough to jump in!

Curious Fern was obviously wondering what was in the bucket. Out of the corner of my eye I see Fern leaping into the bucket. There was a splash and water hit me, the door and the ground. I turn to find Fern in the bucket floating, immobilized. She was just floating there not moving at all, but not sinking, it was really quite a funny sight. I scoop Fern out of the bucket and once on dry land she runs off flicking her feet at me as though it was my fault. Then a very wet Fern hops to the top of her condo and begins to furiously groom herslelf. It was hilarious! I mean I didn’t think Fern would actually jump in the bucket! Fern was probably offended from me laughing so hard at her! LOL!

        Any other funny stories?

            To funny.

I’ve only had Bo for a few weeks, but he gets free reign of the house. The cats didn’t want to play so Bo played with himself. (*snicker*) He started zooming going from the hall to the kitchen where it is tile, followed by an attempt to stop only to slide and plow into an eating cat, who wasn’t happy.

I have to say… last night i was attemptign to brush Monkey as she is in a full shed. Hubby was laughing at her tellign her she looked silly, and that her fluff made it look like she had ghetto booty.

As soon as he said Ghetto booty, Moose did a straight up binky.

              Evidently Moosie likes big butts.

I’ve got a funny story now! I’ve been keeping Jeannie in my bedroom for now – trying to get her litter box habits cemented before I let her have full run of the apartment… So throughout the day, I have to switch between playtime for Leroy and playtime for Jeannie Beanie since they’re not bonded yet. Leroy gets to run around the whole apartment still, but I have to put him up when I let Jeannie out. I can’t leave them out at the same time because I can’t trust Jeannie to be in my bedroom alone and I can’t trust Leroy to stay in the rest of the apartment by himself without getting into trouble

I had a snow day today, all my classes were canceled so I stayed at home all day and did homework and cleaned and stuff. So after one of Leroy’s play sessions, I let Jeannie out and then stepped out of the bedroom to get my computer to sit in the bedroom with her… Well I left the door open a crack, thinking she wouldn’t be courageous enough to go exploring anyway. Boy was I wrong! I had my arms full with my computer and textbooks and such as I was walking back to my bedroom and this teeny little white streak goes zipping past my feet! She was definitely enjoying exploring the rest of the apartment, but when she saw me looking at her, she turned right around and ran straight back into the bedroom. Little stinkers. They know exactly what you want from them, they just don’t usually feel the need to comply

Haha, thats so funny, yea something like that has happened to me too. I left the gate open and actually my sister came upstars and said Fern was running all over the upstairs- she probably had a blast!

And yes I did help dry Fern off, but she was not happy about that either

Pepper has so many, but I think it would have to be The Lemon Incident ™

I was unloading groceries, and I did not notice that she yoinked a lemon out of the bag.

So I’m working away, and I hear THUMP!   THUMP!!!!

I look, and she’s about halfway down the hallway, thumping like crazy.  In front of her is a lemon, with a nice bite taken out of it.

Clearly, she is thumping at the lemon, for being sour and not yummy like it smelled.

                    What a princess….

Oh, heck – I love the Lemon story!

Kay’s favorite toy is her slinky.
One day I was in the kitchen when I heard a bunny running around like mad in the living room. I looked to see a white streak followed by a blue streak. She had managed to get her back foot caught in the slinky – she was trying to run away from it but it keep following her!By the time I stopped laughing she had managed to dislodge the evil slinky from her foot.
I took the slinky away for a few months. When I first gave it back to them, Kay would not go near it. But, now she loves it again!

Winston sometimes sits under J’s chair in the office and Thumps when he wants attention. It is quite startling to have a Thump come from right underneath you self!

Haha at the slinky! That reminds me of what happened to my dog once. Well our dogs don’t have an invisible fence so they are let out on long leashes tied to the deck. SO one day we let them outside to lick the rotisserie (we had just cooked chicken on it). Well our one dogs got his leach tangled around it and had pulled it and then was frightened by the noise it made and pulled it more trying to run away. Well the rotisserie ‘chased him’ off the deck, onto the yard and my dad found him at the very end of his leash straining away from the rotisserie. He is still afraid of that thing today!

These are all cute stories.   Very funny and a good idea for posts.

So          Cotton Boo when he was a wee young one he had gotten up on my sewing table.   He  spent a little time up there.  Later that day when I went to sew and discovered that he had taken most of the pins out  of the pin cushion.  They were all over the table.

Another time     Cotton Boo    came to me.  He had seen me put my glasses on my head when watching tv then when the commercials came on I put them back down and read.     So Boo came over.  Grabbed my glasses and put them on my head like he had seen me wear them.   Then he took the glass case and set it straight up.  It stayed that way too.   Amazing little fellow.

                                                                   Panda LIon Duchess of dandylions

She thumps her foot when ever she hears pills rattling  in a bottle.  So hubby has been quieter with his pill bottles.  She caught me yesterday morning divvying mine out for the week.  Thump.  Poor girl.

Now she is all comfy stretched out lyin in her litterbox.  She is feeling very relaxed now.  Usually she was on her shelf to see everything

                              I have a few. ^_^
Pip used to live in my daughter’s bedroom. We gave her a Snapple box to have a little privacy in. One morning my daughter woke up and it looked like Pip had disappeared herself out of the pen. Then she noticed that the Snapple box was slowly scooting over the floor of the pen by itself. So guess who was in it, having flipped it over on herself whilst chewing on it?
When my daughter would come into her bedroom in the evenings, she’d always give Pip a greeting and wave at her. One day, Pip waved back by lifting her paw up the way she’d seen my daughter raise her hand.
When Mimzy first came into the house to his new pen, my daughter whispered conspiratorially that she thought he was getting fat. You should’ve seen his head come up like a shot while he fixed her with the stink eye.
Fiver by far has amused me with his antics the most. My little tabby cat, Griff, came up on the bed during playtime and tried to pat at Fiver’s ‘funny ball’…the plastic kind with the holes in the sides and the little bell in it. Fiver came charging out of his pen, full tilt to defend his favorite toy, grunting at Griff mere inches from his face. Griff fell all over himself trying to get away from the mad, giant mousy. 0_o
And last night, I finally had a chance to bring Fiver out before going to sleep. This is about 3 in the morning. For the most part, he’s doing his zooms and binkies around the bedcovers, shooting in and out of his pen and then sometimes trying to climb up on my pillow. Well, since he’s occupying himself, I pull out my DSi and try to level up some Pokemon. I had been petting him for a bit before, trying to use the touch pads on the DSi with my other hand and I finally had to press the A button for something, this meant pets had to stop. Usually this doesn’t bother him, he just goes off to wash my giant Eeyore 500 times. He kind of sat there puzzled for a minute, then I felt his teeth sink into the top frame of the DSi and he tried to yank it out of my hand! When I complained, he lowered his head for more pets. I guess I wasn’t done yet. lol….

Add to this the many times either my daughter or I have been reading books in their presence and they come over and give the covers their bite-mark stamp of approval…or would that be disapproval?

I have to say though…Fern taking a dive into the bucket has to be the funniest thing I’ve heard…outside of BT’s glasses…I would think she would’ve found any way to try to escape the bucket instead of just sitting there floating…too funny! xD

Ok, so bunnies in general are hillarious, but one paticular time Flo and Benny were bonded not too terribly long and we had managed to make Flo pleasantly plump.  The way her fur is laid and the coloring it makes her look like she has cankles.  We used to joke with Flo and tell her how fat she is and that she has cankles……we don’t anymore, because the last time my husband said “Flo, why are you so fat?  You have cankles Flo”  Benny bit him!  He sticks up for his woman bunny!

                                  aahhh, poor Fern!

I have to add about my warring couples this morning. Both their condos are in the same room and I’ve gotten resigned to the poop/pee wars that take place in the common play area.

I let Lola and Daisy out this morning and walked in the kitchen and heard some grunting and snorting. Lola was periscoping right in front of Pringles (in her condo) just barely out of reach of Pringle’s boxing at her through the bars. I shooed her away a few times and from the kitchen I hear Pringles playing with her toys, then thunk, thump and scramble.

I thought she was doing her thing of carrying her toys up to the top level and dropping them down to the level below. Nope, I walked in just in time to see her dropping it over the side and narrowly missing Lola, who was sitting up on her butt waving her front paws up at Pringles and staring at her. Pringles had already dropped the rest of the toys out before I came in and they were all around Lola.

Luckily not heavy toys, balls with rattles, plastic keys, and other baby toys but still! I’m always amazed at how smart these little dickens are, but to kamikazei Lola with her toys is a bit radical. After I stopped laughing and shooed Lola (actually, all I said was BATH! and she ran) I wrapped Pringles/Toby’s condo in a sheet so they can’t see each other.

I wish I could catch this stuff on camera, but they always seem to know when I have it.

                                  Silly bunnies!

lol Great Stories! I have a few..

We had Carrera for a few years all by herself. And used to my husband would sit on the couch with his laptop double checking his receipts against the bank account. He would have the receipts on his left, pick it up check it and then place them on his right side so they were kept apart. Well, Carrera would jump up and sit on his right side so once he had double checked a receipt and placed it on Carrera’s side she would pick it up off the couch and fling it into the floor! Every single receipt! It became a game for her everytime he checked receipts.

One time I was sitting on the couch eating pudding off a paper plate (i know, weird) and carrera came up to see what I had. Like a dummy I lowered it so she could smell it but instead she grabbed the plate in her mouth and FLINGED it away! So my pudding and plate all went flying! What a mess…

Pookie surprised us the other day with how smart she is. Her and Cooper ate dinner upstairs with us and she had a baby carrot that she had dropped and it had rolled underneath the rim of the very heavy ceramic plate. She had to have the carrot so she would grap the plate in her mouth pick it up barely and move it forward. It took her several times of picking it up and spinning it until she got it to move out of the way and she was able to grap her carrot. lol

And there is Cooper who is always binkying into the walls! He knows they are there, we have lived here ever since we have had him but he gets all “squirrely” as we call it and just goes crazy throwing himself into the walls. lol

Without a doubt it was Kokanee’s fetish for dirty pizza napkins!

I always let my buns have the litter box as a ‘safe place’ where I won’t touch them. So Kokanee, being really smart had figured that out. She snatched a pizza napkin out of Dave’s hand. Humped it-ran around like a maniac with it in her mouth and then when I tried to take it away-promptly made for the litterbox. I let her keep it since she was in there and she was ‘home free’. So that was where she stashed napkins (paper towels and snatches of stolen toilet paper) from then on. It was the neatest display of coniving intelligence I’ve seen
