What DOES that mean when you see it on the label of something? I mean, obviously it means what it says it means. But in what concentration? Smoking causes cancer but only after prolonged exposure. Is it the same with these products or if any of it is ingested is something horrible going to happen?

I just realized that almost all of my paints have this warning label. Now I’m scared to touch Little-Bit after even using them!

Make sure to use any paints in a well ventilated area, and clean up thoroughly after using them to avoid any issues. You own’t have to worry unless Little-Bit is in a fume filled room constantly, or ingests alot of the paint. Just be careful and you’ll be fine

I once heard a news story that said “mothers milk” caused cancer.

Note to self: don’t drink one ton of water today!

Paints do contain a lot of nasty things, which is why you need to use them in a well ventilated area, but with safe use you’ll be fine.

Yes, lancy, you’re still alive, and I guess you haven’t noticed that second head growing out of the back of your neck. Well, it’s good for parking in reverse I guess.

BTW, isn’t a ton of water in 5 minutes the new Weight Watchers plan?

Some runners (and infants) have died from drinking too much water! Apparently it dilutes the salts in your blood to an unhealthy level and you can die from it. So anything can kill you 😉

Years n years ago I had 2 kittens.    I also painted ceramics that you fire after painting.   I went to answer the phone or door or something.  When I came back the pain was all knocked over.

Soon after the kittens got real sick.  The vet said no it isnt’ from the paint they didn’t drink it.   Yeah right.  They couldn’t keep nothing down.  Started soon after the  incident.

I fed them rice n baby food as the vet said and  in a couple of days they were fine again.  No more vomiting

Water can cause cancer too.. its been proven in lab rats. So, don’t get too worried about stuff you read causing cancer and crap. They put those labels on products to cover their rears most of the time, just in case. Just be cautious, like i said

Everything causes cancer (or at least is said to). It’s scary. There’s a lot of stuff that some people say causes cancer and other say prevents cancer: soy products, coffee, chocolate and loads of other stuff. Just like exercising…is said to prevent certain types of cancer and promote others.

Seriously everything will kill you in high doses. Smoking is obvious, but it only kills 1/3 smokers. That’s not very lethal. People die slipping in the shower. My friends mom, health NUT died at 38.

If your *really* interested there are studies called LD50 you could look into. LD50 means lethal dose at 50%;which will cause death at that dose in 50% of test subjects. That’s how they test lethality.

But I dunno-just don’t worry You could live a healthy life and get hit by a bus. Or smoke and live. It’s a gamble and life is what it is and what it’s meant to be

That stuff is everywhere here! It is on buildings! Like going to some malls it is posted on the doors! lol. My yoga instructor said that doing the ‘sun salutations’ can cure almost anything, so I would imagine that it prevents cancer. If you want to get a little exercise and make yourself feel better, just do those for about 15 minutes every day and think to yourself “this is my anti-cancer”. Or any exercise really. Mind over matter.
