The Velveteen Lop channel on YouTube has added 2 new videos. One on dental trims and one on extractions. I was really impressed by them! They're NOT for the faint-hearted as it does show medical procedures. Along with sounds of the dental drill and also a rabbit being put under anaesthesia. So if that sort of thing bothers you, don't watch these videos!! There are other videos on the channel that are less daunting if you wish to view them.
I now have much respect for veterinarian dental specialists. What a small area to work on!

Jersey - WOW...What a great video. Very educational. I got sucked in to other videos regarding rabbit dental health and I found out that MediRabbit has a Youtube Channel which included the same video and educational videos.

I'll have to put this up in our links section as I suspect that Medirabbit will continue to add and it can be really great resource!

Very cool! I'm pretty sure too that Pixel, the velveteen lop and Medirabbit collaborate on their videos as well. I'm definitely going to watch these since Pepe gets those dang molar trims all the time. |

I loved the detail and explantions of the video- the labeled x-ray gave a perfect view of what exactly was wrong with the bunnies mouth. |

Wow that is cool. Awe the little bunny tongue. Yes the xrays were very well detailed. Poor bunnies. Gosh I definitely know Stella was feeling a lot better. She could eat. Poor girl. |

wow, those are great videos. That poor bunny with the curved front teeth is what Toby looked like when the shelter got him, except 2 had actually pierced the lip. How the heck do they have room to do anything in those tiny mouths, that is amazing. |

My Bunny Burrow is full! Pringles & Toby, Daisy & Lola, and my senior citizens Hershey & Simba. The piggies are back, add Brownie and Sweetpea to the mix. |

LPT -- Maybe watch it AFTER Bindi has recovered. Then you know for sure she is just fine after all of that. It can be a little hard to watch if you think of your own bunny, but the bunny that they do the procedure on is completely sedated, no suffering bunnies! |

My bunny had this done just yesterday, and has recovered wonderfully! As soon as i got him home from the vets and let him out of his carrier, he was bounding around and climbing on me like usual! I think although the video looks quite scary, it's definitely for the best if your rabbit has dental problems, and mine seemed to enjoy the adventure! |
