Well I went on bunny quest today with my friend Mike. He's been in love with Indy and tries to take him home with him every chance he gets. We tried to go back to the feed store to see if they had any of Indy's brothers or sisters left still because of how friendly Indy is. No such luck

Well I don't know, the lady had like 8 fuzzy little lop bunnies and I couldn't stop myself and then I don't know how it went. I could have put that money to the spueter but my heart melted. Mike and I both sat there for 2 hours holding the same rabbits. I wonder if she thought we were crazy or great owners. She gave me a number of a local vet that will spueter for only $60! I will call them Monday. If so, then I can get them done now! I just feel guilty getting another since I don't have anyone fixed yet.

Mike is in the process of building me a nice hutch on wheels, I found a design that a member has here that I liked so he's going to build us both a nice hutch, and then new baby bunny...I think I'm naming her Blossom, will get Indy's old grid cage. So that will look a little nicer in my room than my ghetto sheet top cage lol. Right now she's in a temporary store bought cage which can work until the new one is built!

I'm feeling more prepared for this one though, my room is clean, everyones cage is sparkly fresh and I even bought a new 5'x8' area rug so I don't have to look at the carpet that my dad won't take out because of my fish tank. I already see poo's in her liter tray! Yipee!

Okay here she is

O...M...G...!!! 0_o

It's not fair. I have been looking for a harlequin loppy female for over a year as a mate for Mimzy (since I missed that one at Petco)...or just as a snuggle bunny for me. *pokes Lintini with the picture stick even though these are more than enough to rot my teeth*

*grumble* Okay, I admit it...she's beyond adorable. You should've named her Prosh...cuz she is PRECIOUS!!! If for any reason you change your mind, let me give you my address...lolz.

NICE deal on the speuters.
Mimzy, Pip & Fiver...yup...my day is all about them. :)

Awww Mimz! I'll take more photos soon! I wanted her to settle in for the night. Trying to keep the house quiet with the puppy and the parrot; this is almost impossible.

The others were the darker shades of the harlequin colors. MikeBun's Jack was the only solid color. I just picked her up first and she cuddled into my neck and hair and I was like AwwWWww. And Mike wanted a boy because of how Indy is vs Bun so he's convinced males are cooler. I think that if I handle her enough and give her as much attention and I do for them she will be just as neat of companion.

You had NO chance.  You will have to bar yourself from going to that feed store.  I agree, she is precious - beautiful pics.

I was so excited that my friend Mike wanted to get a rabbit. Then I started thinking man I hope that I don't think I want another one too. But as soon as I saw her... I'm going to have to just give my friend cash and he will have to get me my bale of shaving and hay because I need to be banned from all petstores and feedstores a like. But really I am done now because there is absolutely no space. I think Indy could smell them when we came here because he has been EXTREMELY hyper all night zipping and binkin all over. I don't know if its the baby smell or the new carpet I put down lol.

Ohhh, you're so bad! Though I know how you feel - it's extremely difficult to pass up the cute babies at pet stores and feed shops.

Omg, harli holland lops are my biggest weakness!!! I so wish hubby would let me go out and get new buns :-(

I can't wait to see pics of her as she grows up :-)

Naughty, naughty. I am going to have to confiscate that beautiful bunny... errr.... I mean "contraband".

Seriously, she's breath-taking. Let us know what is up with that $60 vet. That would be really good b/c all 3 need to be done. That's always my concern when people bring more buns home before altering the ones they have.

Yes definitely Beka. Must confiscate that obvious contraband. I'm closer, I'll do it!

And poo, the hubby is coming with me to the humane society today, so I wont be able to sneak any bunnies home

The harly lop I was looking at so long ago was very much darker in color than Blossom. He/she had one dark patch and one light patch on each cheek...kinda like Rachel's (xdigxmexnowx) Frankie. I didn't care at that point if it was male or female...I wanted that bunny so bad, but hubby shooed me out of the store. My daughter seems to remember it as we didn't have Fiver yet, so it wasn't too long after that we found him, and I wouldn't have him if I'd taken that other bunny....still.....

Okay, off to pout now... *poutpoutpout*
Mimzy, Pip & Fiver...yup...my day is all about them. :)

god I love baby hollands like Blossom. ._. they're more innocent looking than kittens.
I don't ever think I've seen a dilute in person; my Sashimi is of the darker version, but I wish she had that many bands as Blossom does.
I'd kill for a magpie. I was so close to getting a dawrf magpie but it was a boy and I was looking for a girl D:

Oh the magpies are beautiful too! ^_^ Thanks for reminding me. I hadn't realized that harlequins came in different shades like that until doing a search of them. The black and white is even more striking than the normal color.

You just don't see many harlequins here. It would seem the Rex and the Flemish really have dominance in this state, primarily for their showing purposes I would guess. There's always about a hundred of them at the fair each year.

See MM, its a sign that you need to move to somewhere south of the canadian border, not north of it We have harlys here! OMG there was some cute ones at the humane society today.. bunnies everywhere. Most of the rabbit advocate people brought in their own buns, and there were so many I just wanted to stuff in my coat and smuggle out... *sighs*

I tried calling the lady today, she's the director of spaying/neutering at the ohlone humane society here in the bay area. I'll let you know if that price was 65$ like the lady told me, that would be so wonderful. I got her voice-mail though, so I'll try again tomorrow.

Well, Lin, you have to expect a bit of that. This is Blossom's territory now. ^_^ She'll stop once she's made that clear to everyone.

OMG! It's a teacup bunneh! *SQUEEEEE!!!* LOVE the pic where she fits into the hand!

Oh yea, I'm more used to changing my sheet every other day...as soon as I hear digging in my bed I shoo Indy off, I know he's going to pee soon. I really want to get ahold of the director of that humane society and see if I can get a better deal on the spueters. Although 120 does seem fair, but 65 would be terrific!
