Aww what a patient bunny – my Pepper woudl eat my face if I tried that!

And I hope for a good outcome with your pup but keep in mind that with minimal adjustments a blind dog can do just fine.  I’m always amazed at how reslilient animals with “handicaps” are – they live in the moment and don’t waste time on might-have-beens.  They just get on with their lives.  In most cases the people are more upset than the animals!  I know several blind and/or deaf buns (like Chuck!), tripod buns, three-legged cats with one ear missing, dogs in little wheelchairs – and they don’t know there is anything “wrong” with them.

well we found out today that she has 3 problems we didnt know were there with her eyes she has stage 2 catarx and a loose lense in that eye which mean surgery isnt a great option cause they cant replace the lense and make her vision beter she would have problems still and she possabley has a retnal degenerative desease that will slowly blind her they said that at this point there not sure if thats it cause it isnt progessed enough but most likely it is so its probably n both eyes but they cant see thro the catarax to c if its on that one but most likley is so we have devided to wait on surgery cause there will be no reason to anyways so that the update on that ….. and by the way yes she is very patient andLOVES attention and to be pettedand talked to and even ran after she likes to play like im gonna get her she binkys like crazy when i do that its too cute !!!

Adorable! Love the pics. What a snuggly looking bun!

Your pup looks like a little sweetheart. My Mom had a Shih-Tzu who lived to be 16 and had bad cataracts and less than half her vision and she was happy and active until the end (she couldn’t hear well either). Often an older dog will go blind so gradually they have time to adjust to their change in vision.

Adorable bunny pictures! I hope your dog is ok, I am sure that with patience and guidance she will adjust to a new home setting when you do move. I will keep her in my prayers
