Amazing! How is it with other animals? And my boyfriend wants to know how it is domesticated. It is like any other cat? Do you have to have a permit? Does it require special food or training?

My uncle worked with a guy whose’ father in law is a park ranger and found him abonanded by his mother when he was 6 weeks old. So he took him to the vet to have him checked out and found out he has virtgo. He has to have medicine daily or he has really bad seizures. He then took the bobcat to his daughter and he raised him until he was 7 years old. She had to move and couldn’t take him with her so my uncle ask If i would like him cause he know’s that i love animals and so i took him in. He does not bother any of the other animals. matter of fact my chihuahua beats him up lol. He just growls to try to scare you and the other animals but it doesn’t work. He mainly sleeps all the time cause his medicine makes him tired.

You guys are more than welcome to share them. He only eats raw chicken. even the bone that is how he gets his calcium. He uses a litter box like an other cat except its a huge plastice storage tub. lol I live in Texas and there is no permit required, we are allowed to have him due to him having to have medicine daily.

He does not train. he is too clumsy to try to train cause of his medical problem.

He is like our 3 other cars. If you are eating ice cream he will try to jump into your lap to get a bite. lol matter of fact he is tamer than our regular house cat. He lets my son crawl all over him as you can tell in the pictures. If you make him angry like wake him up while he is sleeping he will just growl at you and go back to sleep. His tongue is rough almost like sand paper.

Wow, I’m so amazed. I’m happy that he has a good home, where he can get his daily medecine…I just wish we had bobcats here. It’d make short work of my sister’s ugly pug lol

lol I live in Texas and there is no permit required

Is it normal for Texa to be a bit more relaxed bout permits?

I have watched Animal Cops Houston rescue all sorts of big cats – yes, including lions and tigers – and even a couple of gorillas.

                                            i love animal cops!!

here in austin/waco, we have several exotic animal farms that have like zebras and stuff. so i guess it cant be that hard to get permits, if you even need em.
