Both are long but worth watching - even the disabled one if you don't have a disabled rabbit.

I've watched the disabled rabbits video over the course of the evening and it been really interesting. I was almost positive that the rabbit who was there they they talked about a few times (Timothy/Timmy) was one we were introduced to here earlier this year by member Liza. Right near the end of the vid there was a close up of him (gasp! it is him!) I'm convinced this is the sanctuary bunny Timmy that Liza adopted. If those of you on the disabled rabbits group know if she's a member there and have any news of him, please let me know. I'm pinching myself at the coincidence because I remembered Timmy last week and was going to try search for old threads regarding him.
Sarita, thanks for the links. Amy seems to have gathered a wealth of experience and info to share. I also thought the little bit about veterinary orthopedic manipulation really, really interesting.
Edit: lol...I just discovered the Cats, Rabbits & more site had a link to a video on veterinary orthopedic manipulation - looks a bit scary but the little bunny was doing ok with it. |

It's my TIMOTHY!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!! I have goosebumps all over!!! I'm the one with the funky teutonic accent, haha! TIMOTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my Timothy!!! I need to post an update on Timothy. He is getting these treatments every three weeks now. He used to get them every week for two months but now, every three weeks. He loves those treatments! And he loves Dr. John! |

Just went through the video. 27.05 minutes into it, you can see a picture of Timothy in his bathtub (our bathroom sink). I had no idea they were going to use that picture. It was a picture I had sent to my friend and she forwarded it to Amy (the speaker). You can see my lovely pjs, too but just focus on the bunny!
86.50 minutes into it, Timothy!!!!!
95 minutes into it, the end of the video, you can see Timothy up close (and hear my accent - bleh!).
I am very camera shy - had I known they were filming and the camera actually captured me, I don't think I would have gone to the lecture. My friend is the camera man, he knows I'm camera shy. He didn't tell me, haha!
I need to go cuddle Timothy now. Watching him in the video... oh, that just makes my heart melt! |

Liza, I went and watched the bits where Timothy was in it! He's so cute! And so relaxed even with all the noise at the end! Btw, I couldn't tell you had an accent! |

Liza, Thanks so much for letting us know it's your Timothy. Thank him too, because you both bring help and information to many bunny owners who will really benefit from it. |
