Why do I think there is this new deal where every company who is anyone has a bunny starring in their commericals these days?! lol

Was watching TV and they flashed to this man and his son in the front yard and the man looks like he is doing yard work. The boy is standing there holding a blk/white dutch rabbit on his chest and he is petting and talking to him (he was really talking to him-but u couldnt hear it or anything lol). Then the mother comes into the picture like a mad woman driving a big semi and slams into the driveway and yells something about a huge sale. And then they go on w/ the Ikea stuff.

The boy holding the bun really could have held him a little better but the bun didnt look like he wanted to jump or anything and his ears were up so hopefully he wasnt scared.

On one side its great that people want to show bunnies as pets but then again i worry that it will just push parents to buy their kids buns.

        Thoughts?

        Anyone seen it?

I did see it and wondered if anything was going to happen to that poor little rabbit but luckily he wasn’t the centerpiece of the commercial. I don’t think it’s going to make much of an impression luckily enough to get people to want to get a rabbit…maybe just to get them to turn off the commercial instead of watching that hysterical woman!

I love seeing bunnies on tv commercials     and  there were 2 buns at the end of the movie  KNOWING  too.    So cute.

Yes!! I saw that and I giggled on the inside. It was soooo cute

But I agree, seeing a kid with a bunny is just going to make parents go “oh here, bunny for your birthday!” then give it a few months, they don’t know what they’re doing.

LOL! I always laugh at what bunny snobs we all are here. It’s funny cause when I stole Charlie, I had no idea what I was doing either so hopefully people get bunnies and learn a ton about how awesome they are because if I hadn’t of gotten Charlie, I never would have rescued Layla and never would have expereinced the wonderfulness of bunny love!
So hopefully the commercial inspires people to go to their local shelter, rescue a bunny, learn lots about them and become a bunny slave! This is on my Christmas wish list, along with pet stores no longer being allowed to sell animals!
Merry Christmas by the way 🙂 Here in Aust we’re there already.

I just was trying to talk a lady out of getting a bunny for her autistic 3 year old grandson the other day. I had brought Nixie to a thrift store to drop off a bunch of clothes after her vet visit, and they were all so surprised how well behaved she was being and the lady was like, “I just want to get him something cuddly, cause he likes to squeeze them…” >.<
I just tried to tell her over and over how much work they actually turn out to be and how they really don’t make the best animals for quick moving, excited little kids…I really hope she changed her mind!

Yes… bunnies LOVE being squeezed. Really. Just ask Monkey… she won’t bite, really…

                    >.>

Man, Monkey would rip a kids head off if they tried to pick her up and squeeze her lol. My little guard bunneh.

Present company onboard who are under 20 years old excepted of course.

Of course! I think it would be hard to be on this forum and not. Maybe all bunny owners should have compulsory membership. Poor Jennnifer would have her work cut out for her though!
