So today we took Moose to the vet to get him checked over, make sure he was healthy. And he is! The thing I HAD to post about is… his eyes are half blue, half brown! Like, each eye is half blue and brown! It is soo strange. My vet said he never sees that in rabbits, mostly dogs. We never noticed before because he usually looks up at us, and the blue is the upper back part of his irises, so it was usually hidden when he looks at us. I have a way about picking the strange bunnies, don’t I? lol

Whoa!!! How unique! Any chance you can try photograph that? *poke, poke, pokey-poke*
Oh, I just re-read “upper back part of the irises” so I’m guessing you can’t get picture… So is it like a layer behind the other?

its not a layer, just the top part of his iris towards the rear of the eye… its hard to explain I’ll see if he’ll let me take a pic of him, he’s so pretty

Gotcha. If you take pic remember no flash so there’s no evil demon bunny eye. How much did Moose weigh? Just curious to know compared to Monkeys big ol’ 1.5 pounds!!
btw, K&K had a dutch bunny at the rescue called Moose. He was dark grey too from memory though that could have just been the pics. So when I read you chose to name yours Moose -I thought it fitted really well! Moose buns are cool buns.

oh wow that is so unique.   I want to see.   I can envision it in my mind but to see for real would be so cool if it shows up right.
