So the last few days I have been reading you guys talk about binking and I’ve seen a few videos of it in action. Just now I set little Nom’s on the bed with me and he started running around and binking! It was amazingly adorable! When I have better lighting and my camera batteries are charged I’ll see if I can record him doing it.

Do you remember your first binking experience? What was it like for you?

Binkiies are the best things on earth! Pure joy! I can’t remember the exact binky of my first rabbit, but I just remember laughing so much watching him zoom and binky. Plus each bunny of mine has had their own unique version – so great to see!!

Monkey did the cutest binky when we first got her, she binkyed into the side of her carrier and stood there for a sec wondering what the heck happened before binkying on around her area

I think the best for me was when Otto was first introduced to carpet. We’d had him for a while, but he had never figured out how to come into the living room – the only place with carpet. He was in the top story of his maze haven one day and I picked it up and brought him out to the living room. He jumped out onto the carpet and binkied more than I’ve ever seen him in my life! He was such a happy little guy to be off the hardwood floors.

I remember when I saw Sunny doing her first binky. She’s my first bun, and, not knowing about binkies, I thought she was having convulsions LOL .

I cried when Pepper did her first binky.

She was a year and a half old, a park dump, and I’d had to dose her for an ear infection almost since she first came home with me.  I was convinced that she was going to hate me.  Then I saw her binky and go into a full-out-bunny-500-zoom, and I laughed till I cried.

Then I posted all over the internet how wonderful it was.

Then I had to post all over the internet what a binky way – i had a lot of very confused friends with small children, and a “binky” to them is a pacifier.

When Bugz first binkyed I was over the moon, on of the reasons is he was not all the good at just moving due to his pervious owners confining him toa breeding cage about the size of a cat carry cage. So for me it was like he was finally learning to be a rabbit, not he binkys all the time to the point where I have almost fallen over him, or he has fallen over me, or he binkyed into a wall… now he has learned that his he lands his binky in a certin stop that it makes a loud noise well that is just to much fun! Also wait till they binky inside their box hut as the whole box moves as they binky right up it’s like when he moves his box without me knowing he is in there, there is just this box moving across the floor

Charlie and Layla both went binky crazy when they I first brought them home. I was super worried about Layla cause she’d just been spayed the previous day and was a binky machine! She calmed down to sit for a second then binkied off LOL.

Charlie was so so so little. He was about the size of a computer mouse when we got him (now a 3kg medium size bun) and his binkies were straight up in the air with a 180 degree turn. Every time he did one, he looked a bit stunned, like “what the heck, how did I end up facing this way”.

                          Now they never binky

CC – I am sure your guys are now sitting there going “I remember in my day when I could binky like a chopper…. oh to be a young bun again”

hehe! And C&C they may go a-binkying again this Feburary. Especially after being released from all the km’s in the car.

I think I’ll cry when I see them again, and cry again if they binky for me. I miss my guys so much! Ive even been going over all the old threads to see pics of them!
angelicvampyre – you’re probably right, Charlie is a bit of an old man these days lol.

I only remember Dono’s first binky. He’s such a sour puss and when he did his first binky in front of me, he spun around afterwards as if trying to figure out what he had just done.

hersheys first binky was when i gave her fresh grapes for the first time… she took one bite then ran off of corse she came back for more but it was still funny…. not sure if it counts as a binky but the funniest binky she ever did was when i introduced her to shavings… when i put her in her cage she landed on the shavings and jumped sooooo high it was hillarious… i still laugh at the memory... she started eating them after ……. of course.

I love binkies so much!! The first one I saw was such a shock to me, as I had never been around bunnies. Xiao Pang just took off across the room and flew through the air, twisting as she went… I can still see it! Sooo cute. Calypso and Echo only binky occasionally these days, except for Calypso’s head binkies. (Does anybody else’s buns do those?) Every morning, when he comes to the fridge to get his baby carrot, he wiggles and tosses his head the whole way… it’s absolutely precious.

I’m getting a large rug for the bunny room (right now it’s just hardwood), and I have a feeling that that will impact the number of binkies produced by my adorabuns. (I hope!) lol

Binkies are so much fun! I wish Leroy binkied more… he doesn’t do them too often, but he does do the head binkies sometimes when he knows I’m getting him treats or his pellets!
