Just got in contact with the vet…I know I know I keep putting it off but it’s time and I’m going to want to bond my 2 eventually!

What do you think of these prices? This comes with IV fluids and something theapy during the surgery and painmeds after. Something about regulating blood pressure during the procedure. It was only an extra 21$ and the painmeds were also another 20$

        Spay  176.34  total

        Neuter 126.45  total

For reals this time, getting it done in January.  Made the appointment for bun on Jan. 3

        I think it sounds good.

I’m in Canada, but those prices look comparable to what I paid… 110$(Canadian) for Calypso and 200$ for Echo. Good luck!

I’m going to ask for money gifts for xmas to get Indies done sooner as well. I really should open up more hours at work too, so I can make more moneyz since classes are out.

                  Those are great prices!

My girl’s spay was about $180 out the door (including meds) 2 years ago… I recently called the vet to ask about current prices (for a BB member in my area) and the spay is now $280!!! A hundred bucks increase in two years! The male neuters are now $220!!!

YIKES! Yay for shelters/rescues who only adopt out speutered buns!

Yea I wonder if this was the “out the door” price. I doubt it. I’ll have to come back for an office visit to take out the stitches. We’ll see.

Monkey had the kind of stitches that just dissolve, so I didn’t have to take her back in

They said the same ones were on my puppy, and they weren’t. The vet tech was totally mistaken. And we had to take her in after 2 weeks to take them out.

Did your vet charge you to take the stitches out? I’ve never experienced that. At my vet, if later stitch removal is required it is part of the initial cost.
