Jen came over after rescuing a bunny….so cute!!

I’m friends with the woman that runs Judge’s Park out of her home (where we got Gracie and Sandy) and she was in the area and I invited her over to see the bunnies.  She was picking up a “easter” rabbit that was on craigslist for free:

Just bought the rabbit cage special for the kids rabbit they got for Easter and painted it white.. Now my daughter afraid of it when it jumps… don’t know why that’s what they do… so I decided I want the cage gone and rabbit also to a good home… the top lift up to reach inside ..Has a ladder that drops down for rabbit to climb out if you like… to clean cage the bottom slides out.. Do not need to remove rabbit when cleaning

I liked how they called him “It”.  He’s never had hay either…poor bun.  He wasn’t to far from me so she came over and brought him inside.  He was ADORABLE!!  Gracie and Archie went over to the cage and started to sniff it.  Gracie was a bit territorial as always and decided to pee in the dining room.  We had the top of his travel cage open to pet him and Archie decided he wanted in and tried to jump in….he almost made it too!    He looks a lot like Archie too.  And the neat thing about his coloring is that if you look closely he’s brown on his back but gray on his face.  He is so tempting to get for a 4th bunny but we’re like no we can’t….but he’s so cute, ok….no wait we can’t!    Sandy and Gracie are so stubborn we almost just want to have 2 pairs.    I dunno, we’ve been going back and forth but it’s a tough decision.

What a beautiful bunny! I just hate it when I read those ads, calling the animal an ‘it’, and throwing it in for free, it is such little respect for a life. aaghh
But he’s a lucky guy now!

Yeah and to put a price on the hutch and say they’ll throw in the rabbit for free…ugh.  Well at least he had a friend there I guess….Jen said he was friends with their dog and had one last play time before he left.  He was purring when Archie and Gracie where around his cage   Well he still needed to be fixed so he was probably just taken with Gracie hehe!

Ugh… those ads make me so mad! The “owner” goes on and on about how spectacular this dumb, crappy hutch is… “oh and by the way, there’s a rabbit too!”

Thank goodness she was able to get that little guy outta there! She want to bring him around this way? (She can leave that crappy $100 hutch for the garbageman tho…)

I think she told me she convinced the owner to give him up to her so she didn’t have to buy the hutch thank goodness. Jen said she usually doesn’t respond to craigslist ads (there’s so many sometimes) but she cringed when they typed “it” in the ad. I try not to look at those ads because I wish I had the means to rescue them but can’t.
Thinking about another one Beka? She’s not to far! 😉 Better watch I might get to him first haha! We’re still kind of in discussion about that though…it’s still up in the air.

Someone needs to delete this thread, I keep coming back and looking at his adorable pictures! *keeps telling herself* No, no, no, we can’t get a 4th bunny! I wonder if the vet would give me a discount for bringing in all the rabbits at once…hmmm…. *smacks self*
