Heard on the radio that Petco was taking free pet pictures with santa! Thought I’d let everyone know. I don’t have a real camera at home so it’ll be a great opportunity to get a good one.

You need a petco card, but its like a shaws reward card and its free, you can sign up for it on their website too:

        http://www.petco.com/Pals/PALSEnrollment.aspx?Nav=7

It’s in the U.S., nationwide on Saturday the 5th from 11am-4pm.

That sounds fun but Freya does NOT do being held. Fatty also outgrew her harness and needs a bigger one before we go out again.

It sounds cute, but just be aware that there will be LOTS of dogs and cats there, who may take an interest in a bunny in their midst. Be sure to have a carrier that’s very protective and easy to get in and out of.
              Ho, ho, ho.

I’ve been planning on going for 3 weeks now! It’s a free picture with any purchase, and Felony needs hay, so it works out perfectly. I’m going to go with my two friends and their Maltipoo and Yorkie Maltese.
I got Felony a cute soft red and white neck band with bells on it to wear during his picture with Sandy Claws.

Oops, I forgot how much of a hassle it may be for little buns! I’m so used to Nori. Flemish’s really do hold the title for “gentle giants”. She doesn’t care if I pick her up. Also, she isn’t scared of most dogs so as long as she’s out of reach she’s okay.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Otto would not be down with being forced to sit on Santa’s lap. Lol. Oh well. The pictures would be adorable I’m sure!

I’m taking Mikey for Santa pictures tomorrow I think (well we are experiencing a blizzard-so if it’s drivable we are going) at the Humane societ here-I also wanted to check out their new facility-the pictures show it’s GORGEOUS!!

Anyways-I’m considering taking Rupert and Kahlua as well….I have the bunny stroller-and they both travel well…thinking about it anyways. Maybe I’ll see how the lineup is with Mikey and if it’s not too bad I’ll take them on Sunday.

I really want to do a picture of all five together-will need help positioning for it lol -I want to do it for a christmas card for my vet-she’s looked after all of them and been really supportive…maybe I will just do that once the tree is up for the background and not bother taking the bunnies in to see Santa…

If I took Monkey to see Santa, I’m pretty sure she’d end up getting charged with assault. Or attempted homicide.

KK, FYI Petco is doing the free pictures only on Saturday.

Here’s the add from their website. http://www.petco.com/Content/ContentNoRight.aspx?PC=santaphotos

Leroy travels really well, and I’ve taken him to the petstore before and he’s done fine, even though there were dogs and other animals around, so I’m just going to go early to try to beat the crowd! And yes, I’ll be taking him in his carrier – he has a leash too, but I definitely don’t want an escapee!

I’d like to know how Elrohwen got that cute little Santa hat on Otto in the av she has up now? Did you use Photoshop for it or is he actually wearing a cap? Either way it’s adorable!
Sadly, I won’t be trucking my buns, or cats, or Shadow to PETCO, although the picture idea sounds wonderful.. It would be easier to put Mr. Fishy in Santa’s lap if I could manage it.
I remember seeing a few bunnies in a PETCO cart last summer..it blew my mind! 0_o One did happen to be a Flemmie, I’m pretty sure, it hadn’t occurred to me that they have a penchant for going shopping. ^_^

MM, even though Leroy is such a spaz sometimes, he seems to like our outings, he did great today! I had him in his carrier though, not the cart, but sometimes he sits in the baby seat in the cart!

                                  KK, lol, I guess not.

The people working at Petco said there was another bunny in before us and I immediately wondered if any of my BB friends brought their bunny.

I just googled Santa pictures, and there’s a zillion. You could DL a nice illustration of Santa, then photograph bunnies in front of it printed out, or on your screen.

This would be Dec 07. At Pet Smart & they charged $8.something but the profit went to the Humane Society. The bunnies rode around in the cart & we had to wait a looong time maybe 15 min to take the picture but 90 for them to print it. Trouble with the printer? I did not want to be in the pic but the dog, Bucca, was afraid of Santa … typical baby. I’d love to get another this year but I can’t imagine getting 4 buns, Bucca, & a cat into the store together without any drama. I do have hats for everyone so I’m going to try a home shot. I guess I’ll have to find some inoccent unsuspecting man & get him drunk enough to play Santa!!!
