  Freya needed more hay so I took myself off to the pet store to get some. I finally got my TPD check from missing a bunch of work for the past two months, even though it should have been bi-weekly payments that whole time so I was feeling kind of rich. I wandered by the bunny toys because I am for some reason obsessed with buying Freya toys that she will never, ever play with under any circumstances. She actually makes a point out of putting them where I can see them then lounges by them with her back turned. Brat. I decided to get her the little mini knot knibbler. It’s cheap, cute, tossable and I knew that I wouldn’t feel completely stupid if she ignored it since it was only a few bucks. I wandered in the door and put down all the bags and grabbed her new toy out. I told her I had a new toy for her but I had to open it and she jumped up on the top level of her condo so she could watch me go to my desk. I assumed this was to further insult my terrible taste in toys by watching me uselessly waste my time even taking the plastic off of it. Well, I keep a door in her ceiling (yes, we used NIC to make a roof cause she’s the kind of psycho who would jump to the floor from cubes high) and she just sat under the door waiting for me. I held it out to her and she actually grabbed it from me and chewed on it. For more than 5 straight minutes! Then she left it for a while and she’s back at it again. I can’t believe I actually got her something she likes, I’m so happy. We also switched to craisins instead of raisins last night which she seems to like more, maybe she’s just in a charitable mood.

  My bunnies LOVE that toy! It is one of the best! Mine love to nibble the little orange stick that hold it together and pull them out. Be careful not to step on it though, it is a painful one. It has cut me before!

  My bunny had the standard size of that for months…it never got a second glance. :/
  I just got him the mini one the other day…still no nibbles.

  Ah, yes, Maryann had that thing dissected in under 2 days. Only the orange sticks though. The others are still spread all over the bedroom and aren’t even looked at anymore.

  Monkey has the mini one and a bigger one, completely ignores em. Maybe I’ll just have to see if the new bun likes em.

  Clearly Freya can get out of her condo, into the office and onto the internet while I sleep. She learned the bad habits of your buns. When I got up this morning her new toy was spread out across her entire third level of her condo in peices. At least I know that she was amused for 1 1/2 days.

  I just dont’ buy toys much unless I get willow cubes balls from BB and those flavored blocks

  Mimzy loves throwing things. Most notably his litter box. I think putting a bit more than the usual amount of litter in it may have made it just heavy enough that he decided it’s not worth it anymore. ^_^
  But his little toy plushie carrot is a flipping free-for-all! xD Literally!

  I just got a new bun, and i am trying to teach it to come and go up (“beg”). Lindt is obsessed with bok choy so it’ll be easy. she goes mad for it! Buttons however, has not been obsessed with any toy, but likes shredding paper, and she is not obsessed with any food either… sad. i’ve tryed every thing! I probably will never get her to “beg”. Oh well… hop-fully i can get lindt to teach buttons when she learns!
