  This afternoon I was sitting out with Otto and he started running in circles around me and around the coffee table. I had the tv on, but thought I heard something and paused it. Turns out little Otto was running around me honking! Haha I’ve only heard of unneutered males doing this, but maybe he’s going through some bunny adolescence or something and thinks I’m his girlfriend. So adorable. He’s been more affectionate lately too and actually flopped out against my leg (I was sitting on the ground) twice last night.
  
  Anyone else’s bunnies show their love with honking? I always hoped to hear it and it’s definitely as cute as I thought it would be.

  I miss how Mimzy would do this. I haven’t herd him honk at me for over two years.
  Instead he feels wetting the bed is a better way to say “I love you.” >.<

  Every now and then I hear a very low tone buzz from Jersey – just when she’s particularly content. Not sure if that’s honking. It might be happiness noises. Cute either way!!

  My bunny honks at me all the time…especially when I’m holding a treat. Usually honks are followed by licks for him.

  I wish my bunnies would honk at me! They just grunt at me if I’m not doing what they want. Though I do have two very (rhymes with itchy) girls. Spayed or not, my girls will never actually let me know that I am appreciated, but I can see right through their little games!

  I thought too it was a courtship thing not practiced by neutered rabbits. Neigey still honks lots but his neuter was recent.

  Well, if it is a courtship thing, Otto did it to hubby last night too. Makes me kind of sad because I thought I was his best girlfriend! Apparently he’s an indescriminate honker.

  i have never heard Frappichino honk!i have seen him dance!it is so cute at first i was like “woah there,dont have a spaz!!” and i was like “awww how caaute!”
