I put some stuff into my animal room for Neigey to keep him entertained.  I was thinking of tunnels but Neigey had a different idea:  looking at the things he discovered a new challenge –climbing. Now I know the pen I want to build will have to have a cover…

        Maybe Neigey is part kitten.

Yup, he has part mountain goat. Glad to have video evidence as to how these dang buns get place they’re not suppose to be.

Wow, look at him go! He’s a trip. I guess being young may also be a reason he has no fear of climbing.

That little stinker! He is quite the climber! Yes, a cover will definitely be in order for him!

…and here he is, way up on the mountain range…

There is definitely a resemblance there. That climbing just cracks me up!

I am tempted to challenge Neigey more but then he may develop such dexterity as being impossible to confine. Already I don’t allow him on the patio because the chicken wire would be such fun to try climbing up…

Unfortunately I can’t see the video just get a big white square.   Now I don’t feel so bad about my red squares lol.

OMG, he’s part mountain goat…..that is soo funny!

Sarita, is that what my Lola should look like? (she’s a bit of a chunky monkey)

Kralspace – I think Neigy is only 4 months old so he hasn’t filled out yet. I’m not sure if he’s a standard or mini either…don’t remember what Petzy said.

Lola is a mini-rex even though she is chunky. The standard looks quite different (in my opinion) than the mini’s.

Yes, Neigey is mini rex and 4 and a half months. But he inhales food. He’s gotten rounder. I need to watch his… figure (does a bunny have a figure?) so I was thinking of signing him up for rock climbing classes.

Maybe it’s a rex thing because Lola is part mountain goat too! From the first day she’s aimed for the highest furniture in the room and with a few pillows here and there manages to always climb to the back of the couch or chair. She is just drawn to being high (and mighty[oh my God, did I say that out loud?, forgive me Queen Lola])

She loves to charge up and down the levels in their condo. I recently got a postal scale off Ebay and have been weighing anything I can get to sit still in the box for 3 seconds. Big fluffy Pringles is 9lbs, 12 oz Lola is 7lb 9oz. I wish I had weighed her when I got her, she’s lost a bit but gets really cranky when she gets 4-5 pellets and the others have a full ration.

I’m going to hang a pic of Neigey where Lola can see it as an incentive for her diet, although that will probably work as well as mine does….lol

Awww. I love that video! Neigey is so cute!

Yeah… i think it might be a rex thing. Leroy LOVES climing/being up high. I’ve seen him start two feet away from the couch and take one jump and land on the back of it…. That’s a good 4-5 feet horizontally and ~3 feet vertically! Hehe.

I’d say he’s more of a monkey than a mountain goat!

Monkey climbs her pen when its raisin time, only time she ever really does it tho. When them raisins are coming!

Fantastic! He does it so easily. This would be a great video for the Gallery here – maybe send it direct to BB? Are you going to install a rock climbing wall in your basement now? hehe.
