i’ve been sick with a cold… boo     i was back to work today and when i came home i discovered that bogart had eaten half a grocery bag of snotty tissues.

        *shudders*

        *nearly hurls*

        *breathes*

        *shakes it off*

so he’s sneakily eaten tissues and napkins before but never in this volume.   should i be worried?

Ugh. Dogs can be so nasty at times! How can they possibly stomach the stuff they eat? >.<

Dogs and tissues! I just don’t get it. I too think he’ll be ok but (((Bogart))) vibes all the same. Silly boy!

What is it with dogs and used tissues? My dog growing up would do absolutely anything to get at a used tissue. Dogs are so gross.

Well, I don’t have a dog and reading this sure makes me glad I don’t. I do love Bogart despite his icky behavior (at least from afar).

Aww this is so harsh everyone! lol I mean it is gross…and it is odd the things that dogs will eat…lol However, look at all the affection and love they can give in return! I’m a dog lover as well as a bunny lover so ((((Vibes)))) for Bogart! (He’ll probably be just fine, considering that one of my dogs used to regularly digest and poop plastic toys! Haha-but still!)

He will more than likely be fine – but keep n eye on him.

One of my yorkies loves to steal my tissues O_o LOL I don’t know what attracts them to it! But check out his behavior, and if you notice something’s wrong take him to the vet asap. And jnc317 is right, this was a harsh post for doggies! They’re such amazing creatures just completely full of love always, they make my heart melt ^_^

yeah dogs sure are gross! good to know bogart is not the only dog out there with this disgusting tendancy.

we went for a feverish (me) poop-filled (him) walk yesterday when i got home from work. i had to use 6 (!!!) poop bags. geesh. he was happy as can be. i sure hope he got it all out of his system tho. during the course of the evening he tooted twice which is hysterical seeing as he tries to run away from his butt when it happens. he looks so bewildered/scared. silly goose. we’ll see if there are any ‘presents’ piled for me when i get home tonight.

I had to laugh at that sentence! Dogs are the best!

I want to post on behalf of those dogs here that do not eat any gross matter. My dog Enzo will not get dirty or eat nasty disgusting things. He is very clean, it is the truth. If there once was a gross thing in the yard and his favorite throw toy hit the spot close to it he will not play with the toy until I wash it. He doesn’t roll in skunked earth either. Maybe he thinks he is a rabbit actually….

he should be fine, but (just as disgusting…) keep an eye on his poop! make sure it comes out the other end. as long as he eats/poops as normal there should be no problem.

my dogs have eaten some bizarre things, tissue, crayons, baby wipes, plastic toys, beds, plugs!

main thing to watch is those rawhide chews, i do know a lady who’s dog died last year after choking on one.
