Since I’ve had Holly and Zachary, I have seen some similarities.

        1. Both are curious.

        2. Both love treats.

        3. Both love to act innocent while you are looking at them, but as soon as you turn away, they are where they are not supposed to be.

        4. Both need direction or guidence

        5. Both need love and a calm environment

        6. Both love to find how to escape from their enclosures, cages, cribs, playpens, etc…

        7. Both are bananas about bananas.

        8. You have to clean up after both.

        9. Both love to mess up the news paper.

        10. Both need grooming.

        11. Both want to be cuddled or held on their own terms.

        12. Both need a lot of attention

13 Both can be potty trained (Zach’s too young for this yet)

Oh, interesting. I better not let the boyfriend see this as he wants kids from me at some point.

Well hope you’re enjoying both baby and bunny motherhood! Another similarity…they both make you their slave! It’s funny because often when one of my sisters are talking about the kids I find myself comparing what Jersey or Rumball do similar. I always end up saying “I know children and rabbits aren’t the same but……”

I am Jersey Girl. Both are a lot of fun. I’m working hard not to neglect Holly. I don’t think I am. Zach won’t let me. I often have to take him for visits. The other day we had another baby over and when anyone was out of sorts, Holly helped to cheer them up.  She was a great babysitter’s helper.  I too say wow Zach and Holly have much in common even though they are from two different species.  I was saying that they were at the same stage. I can’t now. The other night I had a bad case of hiccoughs.  Zach thought that was the funniest thing in the world. He just laughed and laughed. He then started to copy  me. He had both my husband and I laughing so hard we cried.

That is so true. That is one of the reasons, and the main reason why I love my bunny so much. I can hold her like a baby and sing to her and rock her just like a baby and she responds to that. Everything grows and is nurtured and blessed with love. That is why they can have such great personalities. If you leave a child alone and they have no physical contact, that child will grow to be undeveloped. It is the same with pets. Love nutures their personalities.
