So normally Max and Penny are free range all day and are penned at night. Well, they learned how to grab the ex-pen bars with their teeth and shake the pen so it wakes me up! stinkers. normally i just ignore them, but last night i was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. So I decided, what the heck, let’s leave the pen opened all night. I expected some sort of havoc in the morning, but i woke up to them sleeping right next to my bed! it was adorable. They were perfect little angels- no litterbox oopsies, no chewed furniture, nothing. So needless to say, they are officially 24/7 free roam bunnies!

That’s great! I think you have very well behaved babies for sure anyway. I’m glad you are able to trust them out full-time.

That’s so cute. I only hope that Freya eventually is trustworthy enough to leave her out 24/7 but I’m just too scared to let her be out alone right now. I’m just positive she’d wreck the whole house or something.

aww thats great, i cant wait to leave Lily out all the time, she still goes in at night, partly because when i got her she was sooo small it was for her own safety, but im going to wait until shes spayed and then try her out all night too! she’s such a little trouble maker though….still into everything

Monkey has free range except the bedroom and laundry room all day, and gets put in her pen at night. We don’t close her up in her cage anymore except for when maintenance has to come in.

Calypso WAS free range 24/7, but since he’s bonded with Echo, I’ve been caging them both at night and when I’m gone for more than an hour. Echo still tries to chew occasionally, so I can’t leave her out all the time; and I think that Calypso would rather be in the cage with her than out all by himself. Echo’s spay is scheduled for Nov. 5th, so hopefully, I can work her up to being a free-ranger after that. I think that it is so much nicer for them to have freedom.

Congrats on your good little babies… and how cute is it that they were napping by mom’s bed? Adorable!

I feel jealous, this is the only reason that I am looking forward to getting my own place. I WANT FREE RANGE BUNNIES. Any tips on how to convince my mom

well i live on my own at school 9 months out of the year. but when i’m at home, the buns get free range of my room SOMETIMES. never the whole house.
my parents are convinced that the buns aren’t litterbox trained. i explain to them that they mark their territory a bit when they’re at a new place, but they never believe me. its annoying- i feel for you both MW and BC.
