Sasha was born with spina bifida and used to drag her hind legs. Luckily, there was not total nerve severage. She has since learned to get around hopping like a bunny with her hind two feet together at once. Also, she has no bowel or urinary problems. She is 7. She is adorable and we spoile her something awful. They say that they don’t live as long as other cats but Sasha is doing great for her age.

She is sweet – sorry to hear about her handicap, but it sounds like she is managing just fine, thankfully. How do the other cats react to her?

She looks very happy, as if nothing is wrong at all! It sounds like you are a wonderful mom to her : )

What a cute kitty! My friend works at a vet clinic and she came about adopting a kitty with the same disability and her cat is doing great too.

I don’t think happy is the word I would use to describe the look on her face. She doesn’t seem particularly thrilled with the hat. I think she kind of looks like she’s plotting revenge lol. What a cutie.

I love manx cats, they’re just so cuddly. My mom still has ours (was mine until I moved out). None of my current ones are manx.

I had a Manx kitty once, his name was Skeeter Bug. My mom always said his brain was in his tail… not the brightest kitty thats for sure. He would walk in circles for hours if no one interrupted him. And once he was distracted when walking, he’d turn to look and fall over. Sweetest little guy ever tho

Sounds like he had Cerebellar Hypoplasia! They can be highly entertaining because of their condition combined with the fact that they also have sweet dispositions. I know a lady that specifically adopted kitties with that disorder.
