So the local animal shelter got a bunny. They said it's a calico. We're gonna go visit it and I'll get some pics. I just want to make sure that it's being taken care of ok. I've also never seen a calico bunny, I'm very excited.

Bad bunny. She was super cute and curious about me until I wanted a picture and to pet her. Suddenly she was in her igloo and wouldn't come out so I couldn't get a pic of her. She is SO adorable though. I'm going to keep checking up on her to make sure she gets adopted.

I think they mean calico as in tricolor Which is kind of rare

If it was harelequin colored (and harly's don't have to be brown black white) they are stripy. And there are also tricolors in other coat patterns too-tricolor dutch is my fav

so if this is what the bunny looks like I'll send you some money and my address LOL

There's a tri-colour dutch on bunspace. Look under the name Sirius Lee Cute. He is too!

The bun wasn't there long, only a few days. She was far too cute to be left. She was definately not a harliquin if they all have stripes. It was just like a kitten, white with large orange and black splotches.

Sounds like a tricolor then! Very cool. There's a shelter near me that has one too and I love her.

I believe tricolors are just the broken version of harliquins and that's how they get the black, tan, and white in there.
