I think I have it. The largest litterbox known to rabbits. I wanted something covered and big for multiples… I used it before for a quartett of buns but I never thought I would come to like it permanently for mine. I am wondering iif I should even do without the little pan inside and just make it one huge box.

It was meant to store hay but then I saw my trio hopping in and out and peeing even on the bare plastic so I took that as a hint.

          That’s a great picture.
I’d say go with whatever’s easiest to clean that all three seem to like.

          “It’s the Men’s Room.”
          “No, it’s the Ladie’s Room.”
“Well, I don’t care whose room it is, I gotta go!”

I think that looks great! If the low entrance will contain the litter, I would remove the smaller box and just have them use the whole thing. That is a good idea for multiple buns and to prevent poop from flying out on the back and sides.

I think as long as it is easy to clean then I’d just use the whole thing! Good idea!!!

It’s also big enough to prevent someone finding somewhere else to go because the bathroom is in use.

                “Hurry up, I gotta go!”
“I just got in here, this may take a while.”
“Hurry hurry hurry hurry hurry… oh never mind now.”

you guys are funny. now I have to laugh every time I look at the littercrate. –I think the it will work great because the inside of that crate has a dip on the perimeter so that any urine would flow away from the crated animal. I will fill the dip part with absorbent littermaterial. It’s not the type of litterbox you’d wash every time you change it, it is too big for that.

i think you should take out the little one inside . i have a large rabbit so eventually he got to big for comercial litter trays so i had to bye a kennel lmao – you should have seen my husbands face when i brought it home hehehehe . i clean it twice a week i just take the top off take the whole bottom out to the compost dump it , hose it , spray it with vinegar mix, dry and wallah.
if there is two much poo or wee i just put some more newspaper and newspaper littler down and move the hay and water to the other side .
works well for both sugar and i. he can also hang out in there in the afternoon for a snooze if he likes – but his faveroute place to lay if you check out the pic is inbetween the kennel and my wooden chest.
