Some of my bunnies will eat little pieces of pineapple but they are never really sure about mango. If the mango has been dried they will eat it but not fresh. I know the Papaya tablets used to have pineapple in them.

Other than the typical fruits like banana, apple, blueberries- what fruit does your bunnies eat?

I had bought a papaya and diced it into pieces to dehydrate- I offered fresh pieces to Cotton and Schroeder but they would not eat it.  But they would eat the dried pieces that I made.

My bunnies of course love Craisins- so they like cranberry, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry.  Last night for the first time in a long time I offered banana- and both Schroeder and Griffin ate it- Cotton turned her nose up at it.  None of my bunnies would eat banana previously but I guess they had a change of heart.

I don’t think I have offered mango or pineapple yet.

Anyones buns eat blackberries? I had some that were freezed dried in some granola and they would eat them that way but not fresh..

BT- your buns really do eat orange? It just seems like it would be so sour they wouldnt mess w/ it…

Miine like pretty much any fruit-they will eat pineapple and papaya fresh and have had dried mango

Big hits are grapes, raspberries, strawberries, banana (Kahlua likes hers very mushy-brown banana is best in her books) and apple. I don’t really like feeding fruit because they make a stinkin mess with it-makes the floor sticky-but they do like it I prefer dehydrated fruit because it’s dry

Whaaat? Bunnies being picky about fruit?! O.O
My bunny loves any sweet fruit. Some unusual ones I’ve tried that he liked:
                      Orange
                      Pineapple
                      Cherry
                      Plum
                      Strawberry
                      Peach & nectarine

Carrots and radishes – especially the leaves – are also a huge hit!

                        lol
I think the only reason my buns choose to be picky is because they know if they refuse the fruit offered they will get something “better.”

We definitely dont raise stupid bunnies! lol

I can’t wait to try the new chew toy combo in the BinkyBunny store- I just ordered today but I am sure it will be a bit with the bunnies.  They love the Fruit Kabob, pinecones, apple treats and fruit balsa chews that Fun4Bunnies makes- so I am sure they will love the newest creation!

Oh YEAH – We have large bags of Frozen Mango for smoothies – Both Buns Love it. It was one of the “When it is super Hot” treats – we would give them the frozen pieces and they would lick, lick, lick until they defrosted enough to eat.

We’ve also given frozen berries, frozen peaches and pineapple.
Right now they are all about grapes. They get one grape a night and your would think they had reached Nirvana.
Coco loves the Bunny Crack that is Banana….but Jackson is still suspicious of it. He was also suspicious of Blueberrys until I broke one and rubbed it on his mouth. He was offended until he licked his mouth and got all “Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyy! Thats tasty”

I think Freya’s favorite is bananas. In the interest of making my life easier she’ll get a little piece once a month or so, this way they still work as an amazing bribe to get her to walk her own self into the pet carrier to go to the vet. She probably got way too many strawberries this summer. If I made shortcake I’d keep the tops I cut off and give her a few every day. She doesn’t like melons and she’s meh about apples and kiwi. I think that’s all the fruit we’ve given her, but I’m sure as winter comes we’ll have other things in the house to spoil our little brat with.

Oops… forgot raisins. I don’t count them as fruit, they’re her treat food and we keep a bag of them near her condo as a way to bribe her out. (I think she eats WAY too many raisins )

Leo & I LOVE raspberries.  I got them this summer from the farmer’s market & he was all over it from the get go.  Jessica wouldn’t go near them!

Felony is a freak and LOVES strawberry tops. I gave him a strawberry once and he just ate the top off it. So now whenever I have strawberries, I cut the tops off and save them for him. Weirdo.
He goes to town on some dried bananas and pinapples though. But raisins are probably his favorite.

Arduina loves grapes! I cut one in half and give her the 2 halves, then she thinks she gets 2 treats!
