                no, they’re real!
a couple weeks after mumbles passed, my step mom brought them to try to help me feel better. it was too early for sure, but they are absolutely adorable, the three of them were in love from the start, and the boyfriend loves them so i couldn’t take them back. plus they were sexed as girls by a friend of my step mom’s who really knows rabbits. though i’m starting to wonder about the gray one. they’re a few weeks younger than nori, shows just how big she really us!
                she’s bigger than my cat.

                    no, they’re real!

!  Wow. So you have 2 new rabbits and you hadn’t told us?

Prooobably not the best thing to do, get someone a pet to cheer them up but I’m sure your step mum’s heart was in the right place.  Glad you’re keeping them because you’re a great bunny parent.

                    So….details?  Names? Personalities etc etc

lol well the only reason i didnt post about them was because i felt so guilty having them in general. but now that i dont expect to see mumbles in every bunny i feel better. i still look at my buns (and sometimes my cat) and say.. mumbles wouldve done this, or wouldntve done that, etc. but ive gotten used to the fact that she’s gone and they’re just as great in their different ways.

EDIT: the babies have helped in their own way. having so many little personalities around made me realize the differences and what to appreciate, plus nori was super clingy the first couple of days!

they dont have names yet, i always take so long because i want to find one that fits them perfect!
the gray one is double maned, and a real personality. he is in LOVE with nori, and follows her everywhere. he grooms her and snuggles and lately has tried mounting, but is too small. he nips at me and kicks at me when i pick him up, and i need to brush him every few days he’s so fluffy! he is more like mumbles than the other two. he will lick me, but doesnt want me to touch him, haha.
the tan one is sort of a loner, she is very small, even in comparison to her sister (brother?). skittish, id guess because of her size, but a sweet heart. she’s similar to nori but doesnt like to cuddle too much. she does some cute binkies though!
im just worried about when the gray one reaches sexual maturity.. then if he turns out to really be a boy ill have to seperate him from nori. but ill deal with that when it comes i guess.
right now they all have full run of the house, minus the bedroom, and make SUCH a mess!
                      here’s a couple pictures!

Awww! Beautiful! And they already seem to get along. Do be careful with them together. Do you know how old the lionheads are? He already seems interested in mounting Nori – hilarious but risky also. They are cute, cute, cute!

he’s about 6 weeks, and nori’s 12 weeks today, definitely no chance of conceiving. yet. >.<
he hasnt dropped yet, ive been checking every few days to know for sure. when exactly can males/females conceive? i have a rough estimate, but id rather be sure.

HRS cites Does sexually mature around 4 months of age. Bucks testicles descend around 3 1/2 months. Every bun is different.

Ohhhh, Nori is SO beautiful! *swoons* Gotta love those EARS!!! She looks really graceful, like a dancer.
*points* Awes! Look at the two widdle dust bunnies! ^_^ Oh gosh, they are precious! My cat, Griff, used to sleep in my lap just like that! I didn’t know a bunny could lay on it’s back that way, comfortably at least.

haha Lancy! I was actually referring to my speed in replying to sgregorys initial post.  I had actually requested pictures of Nori in another part of the forum.
But thanks for the reminder. I shall stay vigilant for avenging members.

Oh my gosh! Too cute!!!! Aww. And yay for more bunnies!!! All this talk about everyone else getting more makes me want more too!

Was the bonding pretty easy with the three?

the bonding was INSTANT. but i think it was nori’s motherly instinct (she was protective of them with the cat, and she loved laying on them, hah) and the fact that they are all so young. soon enough im sure they’ll start to break the bond.
i plan on bonding them back together if that happens anyway, after getting them fixed because of the boy. wow is that going to hurt financially! 😛
                                        and thanks everybody!
