  On saturday i went to the strathcona farmers market here in edmonton, a little later than usual, and i went to go get some nommy herbs for Gizmo and they were almost sold out! he had to hunt for some more mint.
  
  I mentioned the poor little bunny at home just pining for some mint and he said i wasnt the first bunny owner getting herbs that day, in fact we are the reason he was selling out
  
  I also got a discount on it (maybe because i waited) but another lady was trying to say she needed it more than i did! but he politely told her bunny’s came first! so
  
  i wonder how many of these bun owners are members!

  it’s definatly not cheap, it cost more almost every week!
  
  it’s too expensive to buy food for the people! i just get herbs for the bunny haha

  aw, that’s so cute. We had a very small farmer’s market for a couple of months, before summer scorched everything around here. A lady had some veggies but also some sprigs of herbs in a glass of water. I bought all she had every Sunday and she was telling everyone I must be a great cook so insist on such fresh herbs before I confessed it was for my bunnies.

  I know the people at the supermarket by my house must think i adore parsley because i go through ALOT of it haha.

  Monek doesn’t approve of parsley, she turns her little nose up at it and won’t touch it until all her lettuce is gone first. weirdo

  I wish I had a local farmers market, but my boyfriend ALWAYS complains that our bunnies are fed better than him!! LOL! I buy parsely at our grocery store for them and the buns love it!

  My cashiers must wonder how I stay overweight when I buy 3 heads of lettuce, 6 bunches each of parsely, cilantro, etc and a bag of carrots each week….lol

  guess its not just my buns that eat better than i do… hhehehehe!!!
  
  every time i make them their salad at night i think hmmm I should make one for me too…. but then i would run the risk of running out and the buns would be very mad at me then.

  Haha, I support the guy at your farmer’s market. I always try to get discarded carrot tops when I go to one… they’ll usually just give them to you because no one else wants em haha.
