ok, I officially admit to having bunnies on the brain. I was sewing this morning, not paying much attention to the tv, a rerun of probably the last show of Little House on the Prairie. The one where some guy buys the town and forces the families out and they decide to blow up every house and building before they leave.

Before being owned by the 6 buns, I would have sniffled and teared up about Walnut Grove being blown to smithereens, but a subplot was about a small boy raising rabbits to sell for Easter gifts. (ok, I know…) It was interesting to see the hutches without hardware, him feeding and sweeping out the poo with a little broom complaining about all the little marbles, I just had to laugh. I did wonder how this farming family was supposed to have gottn the siamese, himilayan, Hotots and californians out to Kansas without them being eaten first….lol There were a few agouti and yellow ones, but mostly white breeds.

They had the scene where that family tearfully leaves the farm, having set the rabbits free in the yard and I’m going what the Heck, you can’t DO that! They don’t even run off, just snuggle up together by the door and the last view seconds are closeups of the bunnie faces…..lol

I reeeallllyy need to get out of the bunny room every now and then

Hogeeze. >_< You know, I loved that show and the Waltons when I was a kid. I never got to see the last of the episodes of Little House myself…now I'm glad I didn't.
How did you not become a bawling mess after seeing the bunnies abandoned like that? I think I would’ve gone to Hollywood to find Half Pint and kick her in the bum.
