Grrrr!! I accidentally deleted a previous thread about this so if you responded, you have to do it again here. Sorry!
Email notifs can happen sometimes if you clicked on a little "subscribe" box and the bottom of a group/section and/or at the bottom of a thread. You can also subscribe to the whole forum via your profile. Even if you don't remember doing that please follow these next steps to stop the emails:
1. Go to "My Forum Settings" (between "My Profile" and "Search" on the light green bar above the forum. (NOTE: The subscription option within "My Profile" does not work right now)
- Once you are in there, click on "My Preferences" Tab,and under subscription type choose "Disabled", then click Save.
- Then stay within "My Forum Settings", and click on "Forum Tracking". There you will see a list of forums and a little envelope icon. IF you see any green checks on the envelopes, it means you are subscribed to that forum group. Click on the envelopes that have green check marks to uncheck it. (Be sure to scroll down to see all of the groups)
It can take about an hour for the emails to stop as there may be some already in the system being sent.
2. IF you still get a few emails, follow the link in the email and then once you are at the forum thread/post, scroll down to the bottom, below the Quick Reply box to see if you subscribed to the post. It looks like this:
If the box is checked, uncheck it.
Now if you have done all of that and you are still getting emails, and you have confirmed that you are not subscribed to them, then post here or email me and let me know.
