hmm, i like the idea, i just wonder how well those rabbits are actually cared for.. and i do feel badly for them being exposed to so many people that have no idea how to handle a rabbit. i dunno.. it doesn’t really sit well with me. it would be a fantastic idea if everybody in the world knew how to handle bunnies and if you could ensure that they were all getting proper care and space. i’m not sure how i feel about that..

how is it that they ‘teach’ bunnies to like cuddling? that statement worries me a bit. doesn’t sound like the guy is very credible. too bad since i think it’d be a cool idea if there was a knowledgeable staff member overseeing and teaching about proper rabbit handling and care.

Hmm yeah I agree, it’s interesting but I just don’t know.  I’d be especially worried about children.  Some parents just don’t watch what their kids do and kids don’t know how to handle rabbits (or any animal for that matter).

Huh…seriously it sounds like such a NEAT idea…but in practice-if you bring your bunny your exposing it to other rabbits and potential disease…and the house rabbits…I dunno-not sold but neat idea for sure!

“Teaching a rabbit to like cuddling” is a form of socializing them to human contact. Whereas I agree that you don’t bring rabbits to others to socialize like dogs, what I saw of their setup does seem to be healthy for rabbits – at least as healthy as can be expected for a part of a sales promo. But perhaps they will help to educate more about rabbits.

i think they should be teaching people how to cuddle a rabbit over the other way around.

Well, I suppose my first question is are they altered? I know my rabbits would hate this. I do have to say those rabbits in the video are adorable and look well cared for. I think it’s a positive way to introduce people to rabbits as opposed to some other ways like pet shops, fairs, things like that. I see alot more positive in this than negative – sure it’s not ideal but the idea is good.

thats cool, but byob would be a bad idea you should at least have strict rules about it for safety reasons
i would not bring my bunny thats for sure…

Maybe this is just me, but frankly most adults know no more about rabbits than most 5 year olds. How is this different then a classroom pet? Oh wait… it’s not.

I think it is a great Idea with a couple of flaws, They should teach the people how to properly cuddle a bunny and they shouldn’t have the BYOB policy for the reason that the bunnies might fight. I think it is a really cute Idea though and I hope the bunnies are altered. They look well cared for and healthy and that is good! They could also educate people on bunnies and how to care for them which would be a major plus!
