well…i was in the study using my husbands computer (i mean ours, but its pretty much his!)…and hershey likes to hang out with whoever is in there. she was being so cute playing on the couch and stuff…i just thought she’s the sweetest angel.

she comes and goes from the study and since i was concentrating on my work….i didn;t notice she was under the desk…i heard a sound from the computer, and thought nothing of it because at that time the computer was just thinking.

then i accidently nudged something with my foot and realised she was under the desk…….which is when i saw a little black thing on the floor that she picked up and started chewing…so i pulled it out of her mouth and realised it was a cord. uh oh………..what do you know…she ate the mouse cord…AGAIN!

we got in big trouble. this is the 3rd mouse cord she has eaten. she has even eaten it through the cord cover, all the other cords are inaccessible to her…only the mouse cord dangles down invitingly.

since the husband is in IT , it’s a very expensive mouse that he bought recently to replace all the other ones she ate….so hmm…we’re not in the good books right now

Of course, she is the sweetest angel!

            Whoops… you’re in the doghouse!

            Bunny house?

Remy does the same thing. He ate two pairs of Stan’s expensive headphones and two of my camera cords. The third is coming in the mail today.

He’s so precious we never get mad at him. Besides, we figure it’s our fault anyway for leaving them in an accessible area. Most of our cords are covered, but a few of them are not… doh!

              LOL

I’ll never forget playing playstation (the one with cords from controller to console) and all of a sudden it says “Please plug in controller’ or something to that effect. And dumbstruck Dave and I look and Kokanee pops up on her hind legs eating the cord like it’s parsley with a *very* innocent look on her face LOL

              Not her-but cute

Ouch!  I haven’t had the “pleasure” of having a cord chewed all the way through, usually we catch them first and we have electrical tape.  What if you got one of those wireless mouse?  We have one around here somewhere and it connects into the usb part and it has a signal to the mouse so you don’t need a cord.  At least it wasn’t the power cord to the computer that would have been really bad!

OH I remember Cottons  youth.    I was having trouble with my old mouse and fussing at it.   Also I had given Cotton a newspaper to chew.  He heard me fussing at the mouse.    So he came over thinking he would help

I can see him thinking   hmmm whats this mouse thing Mum keeps fussing at.   Hey maybe I can help.   Yeah.   I will chew the cord for her and maybe she will go buy that mouse on sale for 1.75 at Kmart.

Now Mum is really mad the mouse doesn’t work anymore   Then she looks under the comp desk .   OH ohhhhhh  now I did it she is furiuos.

She gently puts me in my house and out the door she goes in a big ol hurry to catch the bus.  A few hours later she comes back with a new mouse.    Been working great ever since.    Need something fixed just call on me  The Cotton Bun

Yep  I have several spliced wires around here and a few replaces.

I’m always so paranoid about something getting chewed, particularly something of my boyfriend’s or something on my fish tank (since fish stuff is expensive!). When the bunnies come out they only have about half of my room to play in for now since I used most of my cubes to build their current cage.

haha. a few days ago i was sitting on the floor and i had just grabbed my cell phone charger.. while i was on the phone i had it sitting in front of me on the floor. I wasn’t paying attention to penny & the charger at all.. I went to pick it up to plug it in and it all fell in to three different pieces. that silly penny! lol. I couldn’t even be mad.

Guess I’m lucky, all Monkey has gotten to are the baseboards where her pen usually is
