Just decided to bunny proof my laptop power cable so I can surf in the bunny room. Cut a slit in the side of a length of corrugated tubing, slid on end of the wire in, but it was pretty hard to get it through the slit and into the tube… eventually figured that if I got an bit of wire in, with the end sticking out, I could hold the end and just pull it along, the rest of the wire slid right in.

Yanked it, most of the wire’s in…’OH NOOOOOOOOO!!!’

The friction from the tubing has sliced through my laptop power cable , then I tried to use my knife to push the wire through the slit to finish it off and stuck the knife throught the wire aswell!!

I’ve bodged it back together with tape, but need to do a proper splicing job tomorrow, at least I didn’t chop a finger off with my penknife,  Always look on the bright side

Any other bunny-proofing or DIY disasters out there?

        Charlie x

My laptop charger cord is almost destryoed! I’m really surprised it still works! It has been taped and re-taped with electrical tape too many times! Yes at least no fingers managed to get in the way!

after quite a few cords we finally splurged on a wireless router.

My house is decorated with hardware cloth and Nic cubes around everything. I’ve gotten quite good with electrical tape to say the least!
