I had a close call just a few minutes ago!  I was sitting in the spare bedroom with Sandy while Archie and Gracie were “running around” aka sitting by the gate wondering who the strange brown bunny is.  I have a gate and another gate sitting against it so they can see each other but can’t do any damage.  Sandy was being very cute, following me around sitting up so I decided to grab the camera and take a few pics.  I was on the other side of the gate because she kept sitting up looking at me (aww!!)  I tried to take a few pictures and then up she went with her stomach on the top of the gate trying to climb over it!    I caught her up in my arms and put her back down.  That was a close one!  I would have been in trouble trying to catch her while they chased her all over the living room by myself   She just wanted her mom though!  She just loves attention, she kept sitting in my lap and looking up at me.  I am so glad I adopted her!  It is going to be very interesting when we try to bond them.

OH she sounds adorable . Such a love bug.    Lucky you.  She knew where she wanted to be.    Hope the bonding goes well.

I believe it. Vin is a mini lop (so is Sandy, right?) yet his legs are SO powerful. He can jump so high… and does on everything he can. He’ll jump up on the couch. But not just up on the cushions. He’ll jump from the floor up over the arm. We use these gates to keep Addie & Benjie in their room and Vinny in his when it’s not thier turn to be out in the living room.

Well one afternoon I heard a loud thud in the hallway. Sure enough, there was Vin on the wrong side of his gate. He jumped right over top of it. Although it did appear that he may have thought he was jumping up on something and not over. I don’t think he was expecting not having anything to land on except the vinal flooring, because he was just lying there, eyes wide open, all four legs spread out in each direction.

Close call! 0_o I love the story of how much she wanted ‘up’…lol. How lucky are you to have fate bring the two of you together like this! You have a little love angel there!
This is part of what concerns me about bonding my three. Mimzy and Pip do okay together or apart, and I love having my one on one time with Mimzy…he’s my baby. But Fiver is also a snuggle bug and if I bond the three together, I often wonder if any of that ‘just with mom’ attention and special time will ever happen again, you know? I kind of like having them want to cuddle just with me instead of with each other. But I do know it’s better for them to feel like they have that special somebun with them all the time.

That’s what I’m afraid of too Mimz.  Archie used to be a little more cuddly and after being bonded he stayed with his “other woman”   Sandy is so good, I’m afraid they’ll teach her stuff….like to be afraid of being held

That Vinny!  It’s a good thing the other buns weren’t around like mine were!  I think Sandy was thinking the same thing because she didn’t quite clear the gate and was trying to climb over and had this look on her face like “Ah put me back down!”
