  Aw! I wish I could get my bunnies to eat some different herbs, they have a pretty boring diet when it comes to greens.
  I’ll have to post piccies of when Pip gets kale tomorrow…or when Mimzy gets a piece of BUNana. *counts fingers*

  I had hoped to have nomming photos today, but the kale had already gone bad.
  Even in those ‘green bags’ kale just doesn’t last. I wonder if it’s okay to freeze?
  And does anyone know if red kale is okay for bunnies to eat?

  Bill and Jane, the father and mother, were adopted out together. They are both altered and are now bonded. The little babies were adopted out together as well. I haven’t heard an update lately, but they went to a great home. They didn’t last very long once we were finally able to list them.
  
  As far as personality change, I have never seen as much of a tranformation as I have with Buddy. From fostering 9 bunnies now, Buddy is the funniest. He had an awful life before coming to the rescue, but he has done so well! His feet are completely healed now. He even hops up to the shelf in his cage. That was impossible when he came to us. He could barely walk. He loves to stand! He greets me every time I come into the room. Me and my wife were just looking at pictures of him when he came to our house, and we couldn’t believe how much better he looks. We think we are going to mash up some dried cranberries and spread them on his legs so he can learn to clean himself. He isn’t the best with grooming.

  How odd about Buddy not grooming. Are you sure you want to use cranberry? It’s just so…..RED!

  Don’t you just love how they press their little bunny lips against the cage bars and then pull them up enough so you can see the ‘bunny smile?’ (one or two sets of teeth just showing enough to make you think they are trying to bribe you with cuteness for ONE more treat!) Pip is a master of this technique and it gets me every time. She smiles in a completely conniving way that just makes you *sigh* want to give in and get her another cookie or carrot slice.
