Posted By flippersmom on 09/17/2009 04:05 PM Wow Petzy!!! What a great job!!!! I had been following along inthe begining, but got behind once I started working on my own foursome (and school and hockey started!!!). Not only are the comfortable with each other, but it looks like they have let the dogs become part of the clan as well!!!!! As for your free time....I may have to use up some of it bugging you for help when I add contestant 5 & 6 into my group!!!!!
Thanks Flippersmom! This was my hardest bond. It took 7 weeks. I will definitely watch for your bonding reports!! Bonding six rabbits... that could be interesting -- nothing a hockey mom can't do !!
The quartett went home yesterday after 8 weeks of being here exactly. Their bond was solid when they left. Bugs even holding his own now to Valmore.
They did go in one tiny cage for the transport.
I miss them...
Their owner phoned and said their arrival in their new habitat went without hostilities.
It's done.
Sad but there had to be an ending.
I did visit. I got a couple of photos of their run, we had to bring them in before complete darkness. I would love a run like theirs for my trio... the quartett shares it with three cats that don't seem to mind the occasional, ahem, humping (Roger!!!)
Valmore and Clifford in the corner above.
Bugs in front and Roger back right.
--the wooden house is the bomb. It is heated so on a mild winter day they can be outside for a couple of hours but can sleep in the hay inside that house for shelter. The run has a mesh cover, but it's hard to see in my photos.
