Well I will start this off with the newest picture of Doc.

The dog there is angel our newest pup, her mom died giving birth to her, so we raised her from bottle ECT. from day one, she was my biggest worry with Doc. i do find her a little dangerous, but only because she wants to play, she pounces and we succescfuly stopped that, so now they are buddies haha, well now to the question.

Doc ran up to me yesterday and climbed up me like a mountain and ran strait up to my face and bit me… it didnt hurt so bad stung a little but there was no hostility, he was still acting perfect it was not a “Stressed” bite he was calm so im 100% positive it was not a hostile bite. I know to correct the action i need the reason he did it, so that is my question…Thanks in advance!

It could be she was trying to get your attention. She sounds very adventurous to climb all the way up to bite you.

Well we lock up the door and keep the dogs out to let him play, i wear really baggy sleeping pants most of the time and he has tried to climb them but i help him up like i did on this occasion so i did help him up, so im not sure he is so adventurous maybe a bit lazy haha

Id guess he just wanted attention. Next time squeal and turn your back to him. Bunny lingo for ouch and you dont approve. Hammer used to do the same thing to me for attention. He learned in about a week that he would not get what he wanted by nipping, and he knows how to communicate now. So funny how others or my mom will say something like I bet he is just bored, tired etc. And I know what is bothering him, his litter box has not been cleaned today and his is upset with me, he wants something moved in his cage, disapproves of his new toy etc. Lucy on the other hand… I cant figure her out in the least.
