Hi my husband and i are looking to adopt a FEMALE netherland dwarf rabbit .Sorry no boys. but this is where we have the problem we DO NOT want her neutered.
she does not have to be of show quality and we are not picky of color. she will be an indoor bunny and will have a little bunny friend (our little Queso at the bottom).
as for age we would like her to be under 4 years but thats not set in stone.

now comes the biggest problem of all. we do not have a car and are limited to pretty much walking and the metro stations.

please if you have the next member of our family , leave us a pic. (if possible) your e-mail adress and or phone number ( so we can get a hold of you faster)
^_^THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME ^_^

Why the heck wouldn’t you want the female “neutered”?? This just seems fishy.

Yes, that sounds kind of funny to me too.

Well, their other rabbit looks very well cared for. It is odd and highly possible they want to breed her which I’m obviously against but we don’t really know for sure, we can only speculate based on the odd request.

That’s what I was thinking Sarita. The rabbit looks cared for and they sound like they want to be good owners…Then they have the odd request. Maybe they’ve been misinformed about bonding rabbits?

I hope someone gives them a spayed female. “YES! She’s intact!” and then no babies ever come… ;o)

shouldn’t be too hard to slip them a spayed female. It was so hard to tell if my girl was a girl or boy much less neutered. Three vets gave me three different opinions before “he” was finally shaved for his neuter and they found girly parts…lol

How do they get ‘their bunny’ to the vet without a car?
I’m sorry…do these people expect someone to walk up to a metro station and just hand them a rabbit? How would one even know that the one in the picture is theirs??
That is one weird add. 0_o I do love the pix of the little one there though…isn’t that a dwarf hotot mix?

The car thing doesn’t alarm me at all. Where I live I can get pretty much anywhere I need to go by bus. Many people in my area don’t own cars and I’m still an hour away from Salt Lake. Sure, it would take me about an hour to get to the vet by bus, but I could get there. The fact that it must be an unspayed female is quite alarming though.

That’s true, Adalaide, but I guess the whole ad just came off to me almost like a drug deal, I dunno…some guy in a trenchcoat selling rabbits on the street corner…. 0_o
“Psst! C’mere…ya’ wanna buy a hot bunny?” >.<

And yes, the unspayed bit is disturbing. Any unaltered animal in human hands disturbs me.

Do you think maybe queso is a boy and they want to breed netherland babies x
