I know that I’ve commented on my buns enthusiasm for the balsa fruit chews before but I’d like to update this subject:

BB box came on Saturday and I don’t know who was more excited (as we were down to the dregs in the hay baggie!!) So I “splurged” on a fruity balsa kebob and I split it between the boys which was made easier as the free giftee was also a blueberry chew. So Sunday , I check on the progress and Scooter has eaten every one of the flavored blocks off of the string, but left the unflavored spools untouched as of yet!!

Odie on the other hand, is savoring his ( I think that is so that he can show Scooter that he still has some “haha, neener neener!!”

They are so much like my two youngest kids!

Hmmm…think I must get some of these for my rabbits. Thanks for the (rabbit) review on these.

I ordered some of the fruit balsa from the store and my buns devoured them! I had to give them to them, one at a time or else all that would be left was little shavings! They are great!

Thanks guys! We are working on more flavors right now. The next one to come out is a Tropical kabob with Papaya, Mango, Pineapple, Peach and Orange. We will have this flavor out by July at the latest. And we plan to begin making larger pieces in the future as well.

Our website is still being put together but that hopefully will be up in two weeks as well also: http://www.fun4bunnies.com

If there are any toys you would like to see or flavors feel free to email us and we will work on it!

BTW- When we get emails from people those are the ones we typically email to ask to sample new toys and flavors.

So, yeah, for those that don’t know it, Hedi makes the Balsa Kabobs that we sell through the BB store. They are a big favorite.  IF you hadn’t bought any  and hadn’t seen the product label, then you’ may be thinking Hedi works in the BB store.  HAHA!

                  Ok, j/k…

I try to keep my nose out of kabob comments except to say thank you but FUN4BUNNIES is ME!!

That’s right – the binkybunny private jet. It’s the one with the bunny logo on the tail, and the infamous first class carrot cocktails. LOL!! I sure would love that though, if we had enough mula like that to fly members around!

My bunnies also love the Kabobs!  Neither of them are major chewers- but the smell of the fruit flavored wood entices them right away.  It is nice to have a toy that actually interests them!

I ordered one for Benjamin’s birthday on Friday. I am excited to see how he reacts to it. I am pretty sure he will enjoy it. He is a picky lil bun so its a bit hard to tell if he will like something or not. Fingers crossed he enjoys his birthday presents. He is also getting the Mini-haven. I know he will LOVE that.

Tabalab- do you mean you bought the fruit balsa kabab blocks from BinkyBunny or that you bought pet store wood blocks?  The ones from the BB store are flavored (and thus scented)- the ones from petstores are just a hunk of wood that most bunnies ignore.

Hi tabalab- I actually make the kabobs and mini chews they are talking about and we use real fruit/ real juice to flavor. The stuff from the pet stores uses some kinda synthetic or fake flavoring to get the wood to taste.

                                  Hope that helps!

We gave Benjamin his kabob today for his birthday. He really seems to like it. Especially the banana one. He has been chewing on it for a few minutes now. He usually doesn’t care for the wooden chew things but he definitely seems to like this one.

We also gave him a mini haven and he has been in and out of it several times.  Benjamin seems to LOVE this toys from BinkyBunny.

EDIT– Question?  Do you let them keep the kabob in their cage all the time or give it to them at various times?  Benjamin has really gone to town on his kabob and I am wondering if I should take it away for a while.

I need to try one, Fern is very picky with her toys so maybe she would like this one.

Daisy – it’s up to you how long you want to keep it in there. If your bunny just goes to town on it and you want to make it last, then you may want to take it out, but otherwise, it’s okay to leave it with your bunny to chew on.

Thanks BB! I left it out and actually hung it from our entertainment center. He seems to like it better there than he did just laying on the floor. He is such a picky bunny, it still amazes me how much he likes the kabob. It is an awesome toy and I will definitely be ordering him more.
